@deafdani: No, I didn't start the comparison with Sony fans and petitions, that was who I replied to. Next, I said the two instances he compared are worlds apart (petition vs DDoS attack).
Double p.
@deafdani: Right, but I never argued who was better/worse. In THIS instance, which has nothing to do with Sony fans, what was done was wrong. Bottom line.
@ The 10th Rider:
No, dropping from EITHER isn't a big deal. Doesn't matter that it's 98 vs 97. Just goes to show how trivial it is, when people think there's something in dropping 1 point. It's ridiculous.
So no, I don't see any "effect" it has on anyone. It's a review score, not the end of the world.
Um, starting a petition is a world away from DDoS attacks. Not only that, there's a HUGE difference between a 4/10 and 7/10.
Bingo.
May as well call themselves thisgenclicks.
Execution? How was it executed terribly? The game worked (very polished experience, in fact - hardly a bug at all). The acting was FANTASTIC, the visuals are still some of the best there are, and it performed very, very smoothly.
The only thing really wrong with the game was that it was over too soon. For me, that was actually a plus, given I wanted so much more.
@ PhantomTomy: Right, and yet, Bloodborne isn't one of the highest reviewed games of all time. That's the difference.
Agreed. They didn't. So, it's not The Last Of Us all over again.
Just don't respond. Plenty of us have tried to reason with him. You'll get nowhere.
OT: Look at Guerrilla's history for upgrades! It's crazy! Go look at Killzone 2 the month prior to launch. It was insane how big of jump they accomplished! With Horizon, they've done it again!
Yup, that's how it went. Sony owns the publishing rights to the original three titles, not the Crash IP itself.
You didn't reply to the author with that (people aren't mind readers). You missed TKCMuzzer's point.
Scared of what, exactly?
He didn't say anything about a "worry of Microsoft." You missed the point.
Well said!
Wiki can be edited by anyone. Hardly the most accurate source, but regardless, no Naughty Dog never owned Crash. Studios create games all the time while not owning the IP (see Ratchet and Clank + Resistance). Dev = Insomniac, Owner = Sony.
Exactly.
So we should compare the games based on Metascores, alone? Cool. Then I don't expect anymore Rise of the Tomb Raider vs Uncharted 4 articles (yes, this is utter nonsense).
OT: I haven't finished either of them, but I'll say they both have major strengths that make it hard for me to call it. Thankfully, I don't have to call it, I'll just continue to enjoy both games, regardless of which one "did it better".
You may need to scream this, as it's obvious many people aren't understanding the difference.
* NEWSFLASH * You still need a PS4 to play the games! Not the same as UWP. And for people who call this "good for gaming", so you WANT everything on PC so the consoles' purpose dwindles? I see. Totally good for gaming!
