Just take a breath and relax, your tirade against people who prefer the single player component of The Last of Us is completely without merit. Generally speaking, people buy Naughty Dog games for their single player content and so when you see lots of people stating that they wouldn't care if MP was dropped from the sequel, they are merely expressing that the single player story is the key factor in their purchasing decision.
They are not saying they dont enjoy the MP,...
The author of this article is naive in the extreme if they honestly think Nintendo will allow any of their IP on Xbox. There is absolutely know way Nintendo let the likes of Mario or Zelda appear on Xbox or Playstation, they guard those properties so jealously, and rightly so, it is those types of franchises that keep Nintendo fans coming back to every Nintendo console.
Nintendo simply dont have the infrastructure or technical knowhow to release a console and services on a...
You cannot go wrong with either game, they are both fantastic. There will come a point in Hollow Knight, after a couple of unlocked upgrades where it becomes irresistable.
I can kind of see where you might conclude that Ori is more impressive in respect if its aesthetics, but after a few hours I grew to really appreciate the artstyle of Hollow Knight, I think it really suits the games overall mood and what they are going for as far as the universe and story are concerned.

Witcher 3 is a fabulous game, I feel like we have had so many great games this generation. My personal favourite is Bloodborne I think, although, Uncharted 4 is pretty damned close for me too. When I think about the quality of the likes of God of War, Horizon, Mario Odyssey, Persona 5, World of Monster Hunter, Cuphead, Ori and Hollow Knight just off the top of my head, I am just blown away at where gaming is these days.
You sir, have good taste in videogames 👍
You may want to give Salt and Sanctuary the benefit of the doubt squire, it's a pretty great title in my opinion.
The Interview with Jeff Gerstman on Giantbomb's Youtube channel was excellent if peeps are interested in hearing what his thoughts and plans are. Prior to seeing this, I thought he has made some bad decisions regarding heading down the services route etc., but he came across really well and seemed super humble. I liked what he had to say in general, I just hope he meant it, MS haven't got the best track record for straight talking.
I think Nintendo just edged out Square Enix for my personal favourite, but I think that comes down to the format and pace of the Nintendo Direct as much as it does from the games, they are a very slick way of delivering gaming news.
I think 'decimated' is a touch hyperbolic though, that title smacks of clickbait which instantly makes me discount anything they might have to say.
I am glad you are excited Eddie, hell, I am pretty excited for a lot of the titles shown too, but to suggest your opinion is an objective fact is plain bonkers. Dial it back a bit and get people to share in your excitement instead of driving people away.
With regard to the show, I am so excited to play Luigi's Gaunted Mansion, it looked like so much fun. Th Zelda news was pretty epic too, I just fired up Breath of the Wild for another play through, such was my excitem...
I am not a 'console only gamer' as it happens, I have gamed on a PC most of my adult life, since seeing a pal play Commandoes and Baldurs Gate back in the day.
I just dont get worked up about stuff like this, if it was a game I was really excited to play, I would use whatever launcher it required, I have used plenty of other launchers over the years, I don't care about mod support, forum support, community support etc and Shenmue 3 is a single player title so th...
I only ever played the first game in the series and I enjoyed it but found the story to be quite convoluted. This was offset by probably my favourite combat system in a JRPG, once the game warmed up the combat was fantastic!
Even at their peak, with their best console generation enjoying a whole years headstart, they couldn't dominate, they ended up losing out to Sony by the end of last gen. Why should anyone believe that, given MS's lies and performance over the last 10+ years, that they will dominate the next generation?
The consoles look to be quite close in spec, so that isnt going to be a factor, instead it will come down to popularity of the brand across the globe and who has a p...
Square Enix just completely smashed it with their conference, they stole MS's thunder in my opinion, that show was much better than MS's.
Seems a pretty silly thing to get upset about, particularly if you were so excited for the game you backed it. Honestly, who cares what platform a game is released on, just play the game. For my part, I dont care much as I think the original games have aged terribly and this new release looks really poor as a result of staying faithful to the original games.
Just my opinion of course, but then, I never did like Steam having a stranglehold over the PC platform.
It's too narrow minded to suggest that they dont have to worry about money any longer, in my opinion.
I would suggest it is even more important that they greenlight only the most profitable projects and they better run those projects well because we have seen plenty of evidence over the years to show what happens to MS studios who dont deliver.
Hahaha, yeah, probably saved yourself some time missing the first half of the show.
It's a shame and kinda frustrating after all the hype. I guess the 3rd party games are still awesome for the most part - the Keanu part of the show was pretty fantastic too!!
Barely anything they showed was exclusive chief, they definitely haven't got the message as it was more Gears, Halo and Forza and that's it.....AGAIN!!
They spent more time talking about services than showing compelling gameplay, Ori was the only thing that made me think 'wow', but we have known about Ori for yonks so it was hardly a big reveal.
I think they are dev's from various projects, there to cheer on their colleagues. It was really dumb and over the top, and turned the whole thing into something of a farce. Did like the Ghostwire Tokyo part of the show, the Japanese developer was utterly adorable.
Cannot come quickly enough, what a baller way to announce a release date......Keanu!!
I enjoyed the multiplayer component however, I am not a big MP gamer so I kinda fell off after a few days. I can certainly appreciate why so many loved it though, it did seem to be really well thought out and very original compared to other MP titles.
My only comment would be that I really hope they dont tie in any Trophies to the MP, it drives me nuts that I dont have the Platinum in the game as I am missing the 2 or 3 MP trophies, but MP just does nothing for me and I do...
