It is corporate America that has leeched billions and billions of pounds/euros from Europe through tax evasion. As far as I am concerned, American greed is the biggest problem in Britain there is, I earn a modest living, it cannot be right that I pay more tax than Google, Apple, Facebook, Starbucks, Amazon etc.

Of course, the European Union are the only ones who are serious about sorting out this tax avoidance which is why Brexit is happening. All those lying scumbags lik...

Why should any company out there not reap the benefits of their own investments? Sony or Nintendo invest hundreds of millions of pounds into their games, why shouldn't they be able to exploit that investment however they see fit? It's funny how this has only become a concern over the last 10 years or so since MS completely gave up on investing in games but of course, rather than hold MS to account, their fanbase complain about exclusives being damaging to the industry.

I love this notion people have that the whole community collectively gave Breath of the Wild a free pass because it was a Zelda title,......like it's some kind of conspiracy or something.

Perhaps the game is simply brilliant and it's just not your cup of tea?

For my part, I thought Zelda was exceptional, if a little on the easy side, my 23 year old daughter and my son who is 21 soon also loved it, and it was their first exposure to a Zelda title ,...

Broadly speaking, I think that open world games containing extraneous content is acceptable for the most part, after all, you will end up with a huge world with nothing to do otherwise.

I think that Assassins Creed Odyssey is the first game in the series (and I have completed every one of them) where the world felt too big and too full of side content. Now, I could have simply ignored all those icons on my map, sure I could, but I have terrible OCD where map icons are conc...

Wow, talk about a leading article title😃

I personally find myself bouncing between thinking he seems like decent fella to thinking he is another in a long line of MS execs who wants to exploit a particular industry whilst contributing as little as possible.

I dont think it's right that he gets a free pass when he was so senior in the previous management chain and has been in place as the head honcho for practically this whole generation. It&#...

I think a lot of people are playing down how devastating bullying is to its victims and just how prevalent it is in society. Having said that, I never felt that Bully was a game that glamorises bullying and in fact, while the protagonist is quite antisocial, I dont consider him to be a bully, if anything, you are the one taking on the bullies in the game.

I would love a sequel personally, and Rockstar have no issues as far as courting controversy is concerned, so just mak...

Here we go with the 'what about my 2nd amendment rights' brigade, utter cretins!!! Do you know what every other country does when their laws become outdated or unworkable, they update their laws.

My heart goes out to all those in the US who are stuck with a minority who seem to have such a stranglehold on gun ownership legislation.

The ESA clearly need to step up there bribery of government officials to the same levels as the NRA if they want to stop videogames being used as a scapegoat for gun violence.

I adore that game, I could see it being quite valuable one day, didnt sell that much but is an incredible game, one of my faves on my PS3 shelves.

I love my Switch (and I loved my Wii and Wii U before that), but it would be pretty blinkered on my part to try and argue that Nintendo are not lagging way behind in respect of their online infrastructure and other aspects.

My biggest gripe against Nintendo however, is that I honestly feel like their pricing of peripherals is an absolute rip off, I have to say, the Pro controller is fantastic but the fact that its 20 quid more than the PS4 controller cannot be justified in...

I am not so sure, in respect of raw power the Switch already lags well behind PS4 and Xbox but that hast stopped it selling well. I suspect people are buying the Switch for two key reasons, neither of which can be combated by the other consoles; people want to play Nintendo exclusives and people like the versatility of the Switch in respect of its handheld capabilities.

I think that the majority of Switch owners probably view the console as supplementary to their other gam...

Well deserved, I have no problem at all in celebrating the successes of a huge corporation when that corporation has made its profits by doing right by its customer base. I don't feel that my affection for Playstation is borne out of blind loyalty to a brand, its because I have a genuine appreciation for the 4 incredible consoles they have provided to me over the last 25 years and the countless gaming experiences they have provided me.

I love Playstation because so man...

It's kind of ironic in a sense insofar as, Rockstar love to litter GTA games with lots of social commentary on big business and multi-nationals etc, but they are just as guilty as the rest, of thieving from the people of the UK and every other country the sell games in as well I am sure.

If I refused to pay my council tax for just 1 month I would be before a magistrate toot sweet, but, if I avoid millions or even billions in corporation tax I know that will be perfectly...

I think Quantic Dreams come in for more criticism than they deserve, I personally enjoyed the story in each of their games over the PS3 and PS4 generations.

I would be interested to see a commitment to that kind of narrative and story but delivered through a different genre of game, to see what they could do with a good action game or shooter for example.

True enough squire, you have to wonder why anyone one would want to be associated with EA.

Such a shame that a great studio like DICE got into bed with EA, I feel like no matter what DICE do in future, their reputation is forever tarnished.

If you search for it you wont find it in the search results however, if you navigate to the demo section of the store it is there to download.

Personally, i think the pro controller feels no better than the ps4 or Xbox controller, yet, in the UK costs 20 quid more. Completely unjustified

I dont like the feel of the Joycons either, but I reckon the actual Switch feels really nice personally and the Pro controller is superb (but very overpriced).
