Still playing my switch after more that 2 years of ownership......I had owned four Xbox 360's and two Playstation 3's in that same kind of timeframe.

Nintendo deserve some criticism in respect of pricing of peripherals and their online network stuff, but other than that I couldn't be happier with my Switch. The exclusive stuff is amazing fun to play, I cannot imagine missing BotW or Mario Odyssey for example and boy am I excited for Luigis Mansion, Astral Chain and Bayonetta 3!

It's this kind of issue that would stop me even considering picking up a Switch Lite, not that I would consider it anyway as i am more than happy with my original model.

Given the success of Maiden's tour last year I wouldn't say they are irrelevant, they are still have a huge following.

I find it interesting to see these kinds of stories reach mainstream media as I work in the TM industry so it's fun to see the public's interpretation of trade mark law. Something I notice is how someones perception changes as soon as it is their own Trade Mark that is being infringed upon as most TM's are applied for by small businesse...

There are definitely instances where IP holders over reach in respect of the scope of protection they believe is afforded to them by their trade mark but I dont think that is necessarily the case here.

You have to ask yourself, why did the makers of this game choose the name Ion Maiden? Personally, I think that they were being a bit cute and chose the name precisely because it evokes the name of the band, a band who popularised the term Iron Maiden (the name of this torture...

Whilst it is true that 'iron maiden' describes a medieval torture device, this doesnt change the fact that the term was registered as a trade mark in the context of entertainment goods and services.

Whether you agree with Iron Maiden's handling of the matter or not, it it quite likely that a tribunal at a trade mark registry or in court would find a likelihood of confusion between the conflicting marks and that is all that needs to be established in trade mark l...

The argument that games have to be saddled with micro-transactions and all that jazz before games become profitable for publishers is complete nonsense when you consider the huge salaries of the executives and dividends enjoyed by shareholders.

Secondly, you are being naive in the extreme if you think that publishers would remove micro-transactions if they were to rise the RRP of games to £80 or whatever arbitrary figure you think is appropriate. Of course they would ...

Loved Luigi's Mansion, I replayed it around 8 months ago and it still holds up to this day, such good fun and chock full of that Nintendo magic. Luigi's Mansion 3 cannot come quickly enough, super excited!

Care to expand on your comment as to why I am a sheep just because I bought Bloodborne, Ratchet n Clank, Infamous, Spiderman, God of War, Horizon, Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Until Dawn, Moss, Astrobot, Yakuza, Shadow of the Colossus, etc

Are you suggesting that these are poor games and I am a sheep because I blindly bought them?

There is a real lack of quality arcade racers on consoles so I would love to see another Motorstorm. I generally respect Sony's decisions but I really think they made a mistake shuttering Evolution Studios, especially when you consider just how good Driveclub became a few months after launch.

I realise that DLC is released to keep people interested and Bend are doing a great job supporting their game, but, I platinumed that game months ago now and I have moved onto other games.

These modes look to be great fun but I wish I had access to them nearer launch when I was playing the game, I find it really hard to go back to games once I have finished them and moved on to other titles.

Amazon is killing the high street in the UK, plain and simple, luckily they are well known for treating their staff well and paying their taxes............ohh, uuuh, that's right, I paid more tax in the UK than they did!!

Sure, things like digital have also damaged gamestop specifically, as well as their self inflicted wounds with regards to pushing pre orders on punters as soon as the set foot in a store and selling used games at RRP etc.

Atlus are 2nd only to Sony as my favourite publisher, they are a fantastic outfit in my opinion. I dont know how feasible buying them is but that would be huge.

MS fans should care too because it lays bare just how committed they are to AAA single player games e.i., not at all committed. No question a deal was there for the taking; I will be more than happy to play an Alan Wake remaster/sequel on Playstation going forward.

A multi-platform remaster of Alan Wake would be fantastic and just the thing to build excitement for a sequel, c'mon Remedy, you know it makes sense.

Yup, I personally think Super Massive are better at this kind of game than Quantic. While I enjoy Quantic Dreams games, Imalways foundcthem to be a little pretentious at times. I am looking forward to Man of Medan.

I just replayed Super Mario 3D world and loved every minute of it. I really like how it looks and it is great fun to play, it surely has to be a strong candidate for a Switch remaster although, personally, I would love a Galaxy 1&2 remaster more than anything else

I know it's cool to hate on BotW, but it is my personal favourite Zelda. I started a new play through after the sequel was revealed and I haven't been able to put it down, what a fabulous game.

I have to say, I think most of the Zelda games a great, the Windwaker remaster on WiiU was fantastic!!

I bought it once on PS1 and played it twice, it was fabulous back in the day. I bought it again on my PSVita and after around 4 hours I realised it had aged poorly and was pretty poor by modern standards.

The remake looks stellar though, I'll definitely be picking that up on release.
