One for the Europeans, I will defo download PES, quite happy with that game!
It's true that games are already being affected in this way, but I do think it's only going to get worse.
Gamepass may seem good for now, but once those big 3rd party publishers start offering their own services you can kiss goodbye to a lot of big 3rd party titles turning up on the likes of Gamespass, Ubi, EA, Activision etc will all keep their titles for there own services.
That's good to hear Neonridr, have you tried it yourself on Switch yet?
I picked it up for PS4 anyway, but it's the kind of game I'd like to take on holiday with me on Switch in the summer.
To me this holds a lense up to how damaging an effect subscription models will have on gaming going forward. As long as games are 'free' on a subscription service we dont need to worry about their quality, we can just throw incomplete titles out with barely any content and then issue a roadmap of content and fixes afterwards......and best of all, our more hardcore fans will still defend these practices.
Well I wont, I am happy to pay for a quality game and know wh...
I recently spend way over the odds for a complete copy of Ape Escape on PS1 and much to my frustration, I have no way of playing it.
I run my PS2 through a HDMI converter and this specific game runs at a resolution that is incompatible with a HDMI converter on a modern TV. No problem I thought, I'll play it on my PS3.....there is a known bug where the controller doesnt work for Ape Escape on PS3 so I am knackered 😖
I had to move straight onto...
Nah, Ape Escape was a great title and Ape Escape 2 was a bona fide classic. Have you ever played them chief?
It's a shame the conversation has turned into another fanboy war because I think Sony and Nintendo have really done well so far and have plenty left to come; but I suppose such a flame bait headline in the article doesn't help.
I am a big Sony guy and will soon be playing Bloodstained on my Pro having platinumed Days Gone, but I have been loving my Switch too and while Death Stranding is atop of my personal most anticipated games, I am also really excited for Luigis...
I still love my WiiU, plenty of fantastic titles between Wii and WiiU. Certainly an under appreciated console in my opinion.
I thought this was actually quite a funny piece, clearly poking fun at extremists at both ends of the spectrum who get worked up about this kind of thing.
I will never understand people being angry because SE discussed Tifa's breast size and decided to make them somewhat proportional, especially when everyone was delighted with her appearance when she was revealed. Only a week later once a story broke that they had internal meetings about her design did people kick o...
Pretty fantastic deals here, boy are you getting a lot of game for your money with the likes of Horizon, Persona and Nioh.
I had to import Nioh Complete as you couldn't get it in physical form in the UK, utterly brilliant game.
That is a pretty bold statement squire, I am glad you enjoyed Days Gone, heck, I loved it too (& have the plat to prove it), but Red Dead 2 was something else in my opinion.
Surely something is mediocre or it isn't, can something be 'extremely mediocre'?
I love Days Gone as much as the next guy (provided the next guy isn't a 'journalist' I guess🙄), but I have to say, I personally thought the last 2 Creed games were fantastic and fully deserving of the reception they got.
Each to their own duder, Sekiro sure is an incredible game, maybe my favourite this year I reckon.
I also had a fantastic time with Days Gone, I didnt play if for maybe a month after release so I cannot speak to the bugs it launched with, but the product I played was superb and really surprised me as I didn't expect to like Deacon and Boozeman as much as I did.
The game definitely reinforces the importance of making your own mind up on the quality of ...
I suspect the figures for the amount of gamers playing multiplayer in the first game will dictate if it is worth them adding a multiplayer component. Given the amount of content they released for the MP I would assume it was popular enough
Personally, all I really care about is a great single player experience, anything else is a bonus.
Considering how popular the XBox brand is across the globe according to this article, they sure are struggling to sell their consumer goods compared to Nintendo or Sony. Whatever algorithms or metrics they are using, I would suggest, are flawed.
Have you tried Ace Combat in PSVR? Good God, I felt sick within around 2 minutes 🤢
Ahhhh, ok. I guess I didn't spent tens of thousands of hours over 17 years, spending thousands on add on software in Flight Sim 2004 and FSX. I guess I never flew with various virtual airlines using VatSim for simulated air traffic control either. I guess I didnt spend thousands of hours flying the PMDG 737 and Queen of the Skies add on aircraft alone, let alone the countless others add on aircraft I bought through Just Flight etc.
Tell me precisely why you think I d...
Microsoft Flight Sim games have generally been quite poor out of the box, it is the support of the 3rd party Flight Sim add on companies that make it what it is.
The Flight Sim X trailers looked flashy and great but the game was poor, I preferred my modded Flight Sim 2004 for many years after FSX' release.
I am hopeful that this iteration is good, but I strongly suspect it will be a GaaS product where I pay for each area of the world and each plane et...
I would assume it wasn't financially viable to bring that kind of title to PS4, they were niche titles originally and although are beloved by those who played them originally (myself included) you have to think that audience is even smaller today.
