The problem for MS is that none of their studios can hold a candle to the Sony studios, not only that, but MS have consistently mismanaged their studios for over a decade now.
I will be waiting to see what MS does for a good few years before I even consider buying one of their consoles again whereas I'll be pre ordering a PS5 as soon as they are available.
You only have to look at his Bloodborne review to know this site is rubbish..... Nothing but clickbait!
Agreed, I have gotten to know each of the Allies over many years of watching their content and I know exactly what their likes and dislikes are and how they compare with my own. I know I can trust these guys every time.
Agreed, Ben Moore (along with most of the other Allies) is great reviewer, someone who goes into great detail and takes the medium very seriously. The combination of the Allies great writing and Jones' voice over work always make for great videos.
Having played Symphony of the Night recently, I honestly don't know that it needs a remake/remaster. The gameplay holds up in every way and the graphics still look tremendous, there are still plenty of contemporary games using that artstyle; it's an artstyle that is very much en vogue at the monent and has aged much better than most 3D games.
As such, there are many other games I would prefer to see get remade, specifically, I'd love a MGS remake or a Demon Sou...
Kind of pathetic that someone would create an account on N4G for no other reason than to troll.... Pathetic!!
Try and find reviewers who have a track record of enjoying similar games to you, that's the best thing you can do in my opinion.
For example, I generally find my tastes align really well with a lot of the Easy Allies so they are reviews I pay most attention too.
Perhaps ND and Sony should set aside their plans and listen to some random guy who happens to write on a games website.
Why on earth would ND want to skip this gen and miss out on a potential audience of a 110 million?
The greatest thing about Sony and their studios is that, for the most part, they give their studios the time they need to produce a fantastic product. Honestly, I am a desperate to play the game as the next guy, but I'd rather wait a little longer for a more polished product.
You will never agree on a objective list of 'greatest games' so it seems churlish to condemn IGN for their selections. I'd rather see it as a celebration of great games and treat it as fun to see how my own personal list would compare.
Games that would definitely be included in my personal top 10 would include:
The Last of Us
Bloodborne
Bioshock
Uncharted 2
Mario Galaxy 2
Spelunky
You really should give it a try, it's truly a heartwarming tale with really enjoyable gameplay which would be easily understandable to younger audiences.
Honestly left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside 😂
I honestly feel like the balance is perfect, I got the platinum in Concrete Genie last weekend and I am chipping away at the platinum in Spyro 2 at the here and there whilst I am focusing on Borderlands 3. I have Zelda: Links Awakening on the shelf waiting and a Luigi's Mansion and Death Stranding pre ordered. Seems like there is endless variety to me.
Utter garbage, millions upon millions of gamers are only playing these games because of the zietgiest surrounding the games.
Could it be that you simply didnt like them whilst millions of others did? Seems more likely to me.
Can't say it would rank that highly in my personal 'games of the generation' list, but it sure is a belting game and was sorely under appreciated at the time.
I am hoping for a remaster for PS5, not that I had any issues with the game on PS4 mind you, I just want another chance to plat the game again.
Plenty of others have pointed out that Sony have a proven track record of releasing fantastic games right up to the launch of their next generation console so I won't make that point again, however, I would also point out to the author of this piece that if he honestly thinks Sony wouldn't be determined to exploit an install base of 100+ million he is kidding himself.
Sony know the quality of their exclusives and they know they will sell bucket loads on PS4 as well...
My son got the platinum trophy and really enjoyed the game but I personally got bored really quickly, the story was so simple but dressed up in a really convoluted delivery in an attempt to make it interesting. The main character was really dull and while the powers were great fun and felt great to use, I thought the controls and particularly the gunplay felt quite poor.
I had to force myself to return to the game each time and in the end, I gave up with just a few hours t...
Personally, I really enjoy his games, heck, I loved MGS5 too. But it's not a cult, it's simply that he has consistently delivered products that gave me a lot of entertainment and pleasure and as such, I am excited for his next project.
Honestly, I can't help but think that if he wasnt so closely associated with PlayStation there wouldn't be anywhere near the amount of animosity towards him, but the green side of the console divide have a real axe to grind w...
I dont play multiplayer games and only dabbled with TLoU multiplayer on PS3 so I am oblivious to the facts described in this article.
To hear that a company I respect above all others is milking its customers with micro-transactions is really disappointing to me. I just dont see micro-transactions as something that have any place in gaming regardless of who made the offending games.
Dont get me wrong, ND are still far and away my favourite devs, I love t...
Absolutely spot on squire, couldn't have said it any better!
