Cutter was a fantastic character, I was always sad that he never made a return.
Firstly, I acknowledge that I am a huge fan of Assassins Creed due to being a huge history nerd, the historical settings above almost all other considerations makes each game hugely enjoyable to me.
That said, I am absolutely hooked on the game, it's easily the most immersive game in the series for me and the gameplay is really enjoyable too. The story may be the weakest part of the game so far but is still good enough to propel me through the game.

I don't think it has much to do with financial savings personally, I think the introduction of AI upscalers is more about leveraging technology to get the most possible performance out of a GPU.
Personally, I am a big fan, I am currently playing AC Shadows on my PS5Pro and it is jaw dropping to look at!
I want to see games from these studios on PS5 so I'll be doing my bit to ensure MS get the message that games perform best on PS5 (from a revenue perspective). It sucks that MS get to profit from their parasitic business practices but, I guess that fight was lost a while ago.

I am lucky enough to have a great TV and the game looks amazing on my PS5 Pro. I have lost count of how many times I have found myself just walking through towns taking in the sights and atmosphere. Such an atmospheric game, even more so than Tsushima in my opinion, whilst Tsushima was a better game, the towns are so much bigger and better in Shadows.
I'd rate most of the games at little higher personally, but I agree that the games are not perfect by any means. I too have platinum trophies for most of the titles (i skipped platinums for any that had multiplayer).
Sounds like you'll enjoy AC Shadows for sure squire, and we aren't going to have to grind as much as we did for the Valhalla plat 😂
Easy to dunk on Ubi these days, but I have always loved Assassins Creed and after 12 or so hours so far, this is up there with the best of them in my opinion.
I would recognise that I am a fan of the series and a massive buff for fuedal Japanese history so I may have more of an appetite for the game than some.

I know it's the done thing to dunk on Ubi these days, and I know there is no room on N4G for nuance, but you can love Tsushima AND you can enjoy AC Shadows.
Just wait until later in the game when you start building a network of zip lines. Journeys that used to take 20 mins are done on a couple of minutes, it feels so satisfying 😀

I am trying to wrap up my Elden Ring playthrough so I can get a replay of Death Stranding in ahead of the sequel. That new video last week has be really excited, I loved the first game, one of my fave platinum trophies.
I like a bit of merch here and there, but I must say, I am a touch disappointment at a lack of the rumoured remastered collection. I would love to replay the original games on PS5.

I didn't get an Uncharted tone at all from that trailer personally dude. The vibe seemed to me to be fairly grounded sci-fi with a quite stoic protagonist, she didn't come across as the kind of character that will joke around like Drake did.
Either way, I wouldn't mind, ND can do no wrong in my eyes given my faith in their track record. They haven't made a game yet that I haven't adored.

Nope, not at all, it's a perfectly reasonable position to adopt. I have played every FromSoft title as a single player experience, I play offline in fact as I don't even want to see messages or ghosts in my game.
So believe me when I say, finding out that the game is multiplayer focused has seriously diminished my excitement.
