Always knew I was abnormal....nice to have it confirmed at last🤣
I buy less than I used to, but have bought 18 games this year with Yotei being my most recent purchase and Galaxy 1 and 2 on its way through the post.
Cliffy B was always a loud mouth asshole.
Interesting to hear to views os such an experienced game developer/designer.........wha t's that, you just a random dude off the internet....
It's completely the opposite, annual report after annual report Sony continue to state how profitable the console market is for them. Each new console sells more than the last and their games sell like hotcakes.
I have zero sympathy for Xbox fans, everyone else could see this coming and resented Xbox' business practices for years, including the inevitable negative impact of Gamepass. So many people continued to cheerlead for Xbox regardless of their exploitation of the industry.
I am not an economist but from my basic understanding, profit issues and tariff issues are going to be closely related I would think.
Not suggesting MS won't milk the situation but I can't imagine any consumer electronics company wants to raise costs over time.
Perhaps Yabarra is running cover for that orange cretin?
Which 'reports' is he being asked to respond to exactly? Some online commentator's report based on his/her personal views I guess?
Perfectly reasoned squire, agree 💯
I thought the recent Nintendo Direct was really decent, I really hope the Playstation Direct is as good, if not better.
I must say, I found Hollow Knight to be perhaps too hard at times (bloody Watcher Knights!!!!) but the sense of achievement I got from pushing through and after about an hour and a half of trying, beating the Hollow Knight, was just about worth it.
I am very much a physical media guy so will be waiting for Silk Song, if it is tweaked by the devs along the way then that's fine by me, I don't think Silk Song will ever be turned into any 'easy' game, so it'...
Here we go again!!!😤
Amercans sure like to investigate all sorts of causes of gun violence except the one that really matters. Video games are played the world over, but its only in the US where you see such levels of gun violence. As a Brit, it almost appears as if arming its citizens to the teeth and then spending decades setting neighbour against neighbour is to blame🤷♂️
I hope you are right, but I always try to keep my expectations in check when games shows are concerned.
Fingers crossed though squire🤞
That's the great shame where this game is concerned. So many cretins decided to make a fuss around the character design and turn the character design into a cudgel to attack their imaginary opponents, throwing the word 'woke' around like it meant something. It was all a pathetic row over nothing and people would have done well to just play the game and enjoy it (or not) without all that bollocks.
Absolutely!!! One of the best action games I have played with the best music I have heard in ages too. I'd pick a sequel up without hesitation!
I adore Nintendo games in general but having collected all of the bananas up to the Storm layers I am really struggling to keep going. I really disliked the storm level and tried to crack on with the next layers last night (is it garbage dump?) And I liked that layer even less. I will plough through it but I must admit, I have gone from thinking Bonanza was incredible to instead being more of a 7/10 and all I can think about is how much I want to replay Mario Odyssey instead.
This seems harsh to me, I would say it's a solid 7/10 without nostalgia, but if you are nostalgia for the game (like I am) I reckon you can add a point or so to that score.
If I am being realistic and taking emotion out of the equation, I think it fair (and understandable) to appreciate that the game has aged a little. Allowing for emotion, man I loved this game back in the day and it's great to have a reason to revisit such a classic.
I generally agree squire, the Switch sells because it is a Nintendo product in combination with it being versatile. I dont think the Switch is a good barometer of consumer interest in high end handheld games machines.
Steamdeck has been put for years now and we still haven't seen it explode in a manner which would explain the interest from manufacturers.
If any other piece of consumer electronics had only sold a few million units in this amount of time it would bevtime to pull the plug.
I still dont understand this perceived demand by manufacturers for handheld devices. The most popular device, the Steamdeck, is still extremely niche compared to console and PC.
Just gotta follow the money. It is irrelevant what Xbox tells us at this point (especially in light of their now decades long track record of lying), it's what MS share holders want to invest in that counts. Xbox as a brand is dead in the water at this point and MS are not about throwing good money after bad. I think the writing is on the wall and Xbox will become a 3rd party publishing brand.
