Enjoyed it back in the day, I'll be interested to see the extent of the remaster. If it has seen some real work I'd definitely be keen to pick it up again.
Great to see it on PS5 too as I don't have an Xbox any longer.
Mobile gaming started the trend of devaluing games and Gamspass is continuing the trend.
Just think how many times you have read comments on N4G saying how somebody wanted 'game x' bur will wait for it to come to gamepass or will try it now its on gamepass.
Personally, I would be very surprised if we see anything more from Horizon, but some gameplay from GOW would be awesome.
I know what you mean though, some surprise announcements would be epic.
We already know some of what they got Chief, that's why PlayStation 5 is the fastest selling console in history.
Now imagine how much demand will increase if the do drop a few surprises on the gaming community.
I'd be happy to see Bloodbore head to PC if it meant a PS5 remaster was also coming. Get all the PC mater race into Bloodborne and then announce an exclusive sequel for PS5, that seems like good business to me.
I see loads of comments excited for more on GoW and Horizon and whilst I am super excited for both of these games I am with you, I would love to see some new announcements.
I had a great time from the outset. I cranked the difficulty right up and role played the game, lots of sneaking and creeping and exploring and loved every minute on the way to getting the platinum trophy.
The biggest shock for me was just how invested I got in the story and how much I ended up liking Deacon and Boozman. They seemed quite unlikeable and a bit stereotypical from the trailers etc., but they were actually pretty great once I got stuck in.
Dude, we are a year into the life of these new consoles, never mind the fact that they had nothing for an entire generation before the Series X.
What truly original games do MS have coming out this autumn? Could it be a Halo game and a Forza game? They sure are on a roll!!!
To be honest, something I think a lot of Soulsborne fans love is the English voice work in the FromSoftware titles.
I don't think I have ever heard any serious complaints about their games not having Japanese voice work. When appropriate such as in Sekiro, Japanese was the default but all their other games have that medieval European fantasy setting, why would the characters speak Japanese in those titles?
I found The Witness too difficult and I think Jonathan Blow should be nagged by the twitterverse into making his puzzles easier!!! :/
In all seriousness, why do people think they have a right to dictate to others about their creative choices and vision for their art. You don't see this on any other medium, if you don't like a particular movie or book you some move on, you don't start nagging the writers etc. Worlds gone mad!
I cannot imagine anyone who follows games takes these awards seriously. As a back of the box quote it will have some use as marketing to the more casual gamer I suppose, but these awards really are pointless..
Your parents must be so proud chief 🙄
Only game journalists could complain about having to many pieces of entertainment to choose from.
I could understand a developer or publisher having concerns about other games competing for sales, but as a consumer, more choice seems pretty great.
I'll buy the games I am most excited for, probably Horizon so far, and hopefully some prices of competing February releases will have dropped a little by the time I need to pick em up.
I'll be hanging on for a physical release personally. Given its warm reception I can imagine it getting some kind of physical release at some point.
Looks fab but I'll be hanging on in the hopes of a physical release, fingers crossed!
As soon as you need to count pixels or use software and zoom in on an image to try and establish a difference, you have to concede that in effect, the differences don't matter.
I have enjoyed plenty of games which is pretty incredible given the impact covid must have had on games development.
Getting the plat in Astrobot, Miles Morales and Demon Souls was a great start to the PS5 and since then I have added Ratchet and Clank's platinum and I am now working on Returnal and Sackboy's platinum trophies too.
These titles were all fantastic and I still have Deathloop and Kena to look forward to in the next two months. I also...
Not liking something does not equate to something being overrated squire.
I don't like Halo for example and much prefer other shooters however, I still recognise its qualities and just how beloved and popular it is.
The fact that millions upon millions of people love Hades should inform you that it clearly isn't overrated and is deserving of all of the critical acclaim. All that's going on here is that you don't like the game.
You could support the devs (and the wider industry) properly by buying the game and stopping MS from earning from all the devs hard work.
I think the sales figures speak for themselves, with some multiplatfirm titles seeing 75 - 85% of their sales on PlayStation platforms.
