Seems a little harsh, I will still look to pick this up when it eventually sees a launch n PS5.
Enjoyable enough game which was already a looker before getting these upgrades. I have to say, as someone who has the platinum trophy for this game, I thought it was honestly a little over rated as the gameplay was very repetitive in respect of both the combat and puzzles.
Options are cool I guess, but you are sat in a room with a giant glowing TV screen. If light disturbing you or your family is a problem, then I just don't see how it's a couple of buttons that are the cause.
Don't sleep on Darkest Dungeon, Child of Morta or Spiritfarer.
Although it won't be on sale, the best indie I have ever played is release in a week or so, it may be 20 quid but you have to play Hades.
I think the phrase LGBT friendly is a little odd and has certainly pushed the button for many cry babies here who it seems, can't stand the idea of games that might cater to specific minority groups or audiences.
Reading the article, the fact that the game centres around characters who are wrestling with their issues stemming from being transgender means that it may be very meaningful for people in a similar situation.
Personally, I think if the gamin...
To say it was met with a mixed reception is an understatement chief, deffo a polarising title.
I still cannot help but feel that some of the loudest noise was generated by the usual minority of Xbox fanboys tbough. But I absolutely appreciate that people like yourself could bounce right off the game.....its a strange game 😄
Have a great week duder.
I disagree squire, with respect. I can see it would be an acquired taste, but I loved my time with it.
Earning the platinum was great fun for most of the 140 hours I put into it, I found the gameplay loop of delivering stuff very therapeutic. Once I had my ziplines sorted I was bouncing about the map like nobody's business.
I have to wonder at the mind set of people why can commit violent acts in a videogame, for example, happily massacre hundreds of people in a game, yet are upset by a swear word.
Looking forward to Deaths Door when it eventually lands on PS5, game looks fabulous, I love the artstyle.
I realise this is just one mode, I am simply expressing that it does nothing for me personally, for the reason stated.
I hate to be a party pooper but this left me cold.
When I play Battlefield (which i have done since BF1942 on PC) I play to immerse myself in semi realistic theatres of War. The idea of different forces from different eras breaks that immersion completely for me.

I don't take part in console wars either, I owned every xbox up until the last generation where I finally gave up on MS and realised they were snake oil salesmen, they simply never deliver on the promises they make.
My negative perception of MS is nothing to do with my love of Sony or Nintendo, it is borne out of frustration of MS themselves. Just because someone isn't buying into MS' spin any longer does not equate to toxic console loyalties.

Nothing but cover to talk about backwards compatibility because that is all they have to talk about after more than a decade of awful performance when it comes to making new exclusives.
Microsoft trying the same thing they do with every other industry they involve themselves in, throwing cash at it to try and kill off the competition.
They have already changed the attitude and habits of many consumers, all you hear now are people stating that they will wait for 'game x' to hit Gamespass. MS are truly devaluing games, profiting from the hard work of developers whilst contributing nothing to the industry itself.
MS endgame is to h...
If I ever need to replace a broken Switch then I would deffo opt for the OLED version but I am definitely not tempted to upgrade. I practically never game in handheld mode so the better creed is no temptation at all to me.
I do think it looks the business though.
I think the thing many overlook when blaming consumers for letting Nintendo off the hook is that, broadly speaking, most Nintendo gamers buy the Switch as a secondary console, it isn't used for online gaming experiences for example, so these issues just aren't all that relevant.
My PS5 sees the most action and my Switch is simply there for occasional use of an exclusive or maybe the odd indie game that suits the platform and this is the case for almost everyone I kn...
It is a little on the expensive side, but the pro controller really is fantastic. I cannot stand the Joycons, the sticks feel terrible to use in my opinion so only ever use the controller.
And you think MS and Sony are any different?
Already finished it on Switch but cannot wait to play it again on PS5, I wonder how doable the platinum trophy will be?
As far as I am concerned, Hades is one of the best games I have played, its an absolute masterpiece of game design, has great visuals and superb audio.
