Yup, I was excited for it when it was announced but the more gameplay I see the more generic it appeared to me.
Time bending mechanics are hardly ground breaking and the mechanics looked like those seen in Singularity to my mind, a game that has been around for yonks.
Of course, the mechanics are being presented in a much more impressive manner as you would expect 8 years on from Singularity but the mechanics are very similar for sure.

I think the more experienced 'Souls' players are just getting good at these kinds of games and thus hit less resistance than they did with previous titles in the series.
I bet for Souls vigins the game is just as tough as the original used to be for veterans.
I personally cannot wait and as someone who finished all the prevous games I am curious how tough i will find DS3.

What some PC gamers forget is that without the support of the console market the PC would get far less big titles. I say this as a PC gamer of over 20 years, the big games, the likes of Tomb Raider, Farcry, Dark Souls 3 and now all the titles that were once XBOX exclusive would not exist without the other markets to sell too.

My PC couldnt handle Oculous but I checked out some launch content on GiantBomb. It seems to have quite a buzz about it and plenty of content too, there will always be those people who have to rain on the parade I guess.
I have a pre order for PSVR but am starting to worry about motion sickness. I dont suffer normally, but the kinds of games I am excited about in VR such as racing games or fps etc seem to cause plenty of people problems.

GalakZ and Hell Divers in particular are great games. I will never understand people who demand AAA, something having a retail release does not equate to it being a good game.
While I like Knack just fine, I would much prefer title of the calibre above, costing less doesnt make a game any less relevant or playable.

I played all of the series first time around and really loved them at the time but having played the GoW remaster on XB1 relatively recently I dont think the formula has aged that well.
I think it will be a solid game but given the limited install base on XB1 compared to when Gears was in its heyday I just dont see it selling like it used to.

Naughty Dog are so talented, every person they hire seems to be a master in their field and I have no doubt this is one release that will live up to the hype.

Very occasionally I do enjoy this kind of content when I have finished a particular title myself. I am an avit Giantbomb member and they have done some great playthrough series like Breaking Brad where he played darksouls through.
I will never understand how someone would watch a lets play instead of playing a game themselves.
Gaming is an interactive medium, as soon as you take a passive role you miss out on the player agency that makes gami g what it is.
Really good game but I found all the side stuff got repetitive and due to my own OCD thing for collectibles, I burned out way before I finished getting all of the collectibles too.
Loved the graphics and humour in this game and its an absolute must play if you are getting if for free.
I have been quite happy with PS+ so far. I buy all the games I want to play so it would very unlikely that Sony could include a retail title that I dont already own.

Yeah, really bad news, its a real shame. I guess sales of the last MotorStorm were hardly stellar and then DC's poor launch so I can imagine Sony looked at the figures and reached the decision they did.....they dont close studios that make money.
I am gutted as I was gagging for more MotorStorm but I have Trackmania and Dirt right around the corner to keep me happy. If you havent tried it, give TrackMania a bash, its a really fun arcade racer.

I disagree squire, the thing to remember is the majority of gamers arent as informed as the kind of gamer who follows game websites or industry news and fashions.
I am the only one I know in my circle of friends who obsessively follow games, I have one or two mates who are aware of the odd upcoming big release and then the rest of my mates and colleagues only hear about a game when they see a cool TV ad.
