In my opinion you cannot draw comparisons with HALO or Gears, the multiplayer was far more popular and integral to these titles.
Whether fans of the Uncharted multiplayer like it or not, the MP was not the reason the majority bought the games for and I would suggest the amount of people playing Uncharted online was nothing like the amount playing HALO or Gears.
This, together with the fact that Uncharted 4 is around the corner, not forgetting it has been dela...
I learned a long long time ago that reviews are pointless, especially ones where people are clearly looking to increase traffic to their websites with bonkers ratings.
I played around 125 hours of this game and neither this so called journalist's opinion nor anyone elses can change my own opinion that this game was utterly fantastic.
Phil was as much a part of the regime that almost killed XB1 as Matrick and the rest. MS changed tack because they had no other option and while its completely fair to acknowledge Spencer has made some great decisions since his promotion it does not absolve him of his involvement before hand.
Yup, when you think back to all the lies and half truths propagated about the PS3 being a flop in the earlier years its crazy how these figures bring facts into sharp focus.
God I hope this is true, I adore Bioshock and although I have played it twice on PC at it top settings, I would love to play it a few more times from my couch on my big TV.
Are their any other rumblings supporting this rumour of a Bioshock Collection, I am desperate to know if this is true.
Whether it has performance issues or not is irrelevant, I honestly didnt notice in my playthrough, the game was completely absorbing, a genuinely great game and an important exclusive for Playstation.
Well deserved in my opinion, a genuine classic that blew my mind back in the day.
Talented guy and a great game in the offing, I am excited for The Witness.
I paid around £35 for it on release and while it has its shortcomings, for me, it was far from being a bad game. I enjoyed the gameplay but the story and universe it was set in made a real impression on me, I loved these aspects of the game.
I feel I got value for money too, I played it as I normally would and then went for the Platinum on my second playthrough so got a good 18 hours or so.
I loved Gears back in the day but having just finished a playthrough I have to say, I felt it has aged quite badly both in gameplay and tone.
You have to give it credit for changing the way 3rd person action games played but things have definitely moved on a lot.
It was the Destruction Derby demo that launched with the PS1 that made me pull the trigger. I remember seeing it at a pals house and we played the shit out of it for hours and hours.
I kind of felt that the PlayStation was special then and there but then I saw RidgeRacer and I knew it was special. There are too many games to count now but I always feel that Tekken, Tomb Raider and Wipeout made the console appear cool to people in their late teens like myself. I remember se...
Not that i need to justify myself to anyone, but i have been on leave for 2 weeks and the weather was pants so spent most of it in front of a brand new 55in 4K telly. It was actually a great summer break from work, not every day you get a new TV and a MGS game. Other than a few cycling sessions I gamed, ate takeaway, and dossed about with the wife here and there.
Gaming is what I do in my spare time, and even in the week I still play every evening for a good 4 hours or so.
Finished the story missions and got the 2nd, true ending. I have to say it felt very satisfying overall with your usual mgs twist. Not sure what was supposed to have been cut but I have 121 hours in mgs in the last week and a half and have loved every minute. Some of the story stuff was very powerful at times too, one mission in particular.
I dont feel cheated in the slightest, the internet is full of cry babies and self entitled tits, makes me bloomin' annoyed someti...
Just shows how little the industry experts know. First it was mobile would be the death of mainstream gaming and then that there was no appetite for console hardware. These figures prove that people love to game more now than ever before.
I agree, it did feel a little stilted in respect of contols but once you got used to it this game was a blast. Good old fashioned, daft, ott Japanese action game. I feel a special mention should go to the robot with a great comedy French accent :)
I havent played Until Dawn yet, it is sat on my shelf because it came the same day as Gears of War and MGS5, I have played MGS for 70 hours over the last 6 days, no time for other games.
I dont agree at all thar the Quantic Dream games felt disjointed though, whether UD is better I cannot wait to find out but I think it is fair to give the Quantic games their due, they tried a kind of gameplay and story telling not seen very often at all, and they did it well.
Why would connecting to the internet be a problem? They activated the trophies on Sunday and all the ones I had earned popped with no problems.
Really excited to play this game, not many games with that 'japanese' vibe about these days but playing MGS makes younappreciate all the cool, quirky ideas they put in their games.
Cant polish a dog turd I always say, the XB1 just isnt very aesthetic no matter what fancy paint you throw at it.
Its a great console but it aint a looker, just my opinion of course.
So excited to get another 3 platinum trophies from this collection, my favourite games series bar none.
Great to see that the remaster has been expertly handled, but no suprise really, Bluepoint are supremely talented.
