Biggest waste of time ever to develop 'The Journey' when you are forced to play as some random guy, I want to play as myself (or at least a young, fit and talented version of myself).
I installed F4 when it released and it has never been uninstalled. Fantastic game with great DLC, its hard to think of a game that has offered me better value for money with ovrr 200 hours racked up so far.
Cannot wait for BF1.
Its a video game!
Recall hearing similar sentiments when Amy Hennig left Naughty Dog,, seems to me Uncharted 4 was pretty incredible. I'll give any game a chance personally, especially when its set in a universe I adore.
Well you must be looking in the wrong place. I have recently played the likes of Bloodborne, Life is Strange, Until Dawn, Dark Souls 3, Xenoblade Chronicles, Mario Maker, Hitman Go, Uncharted 4, The Division, The Witch 3 and Ori and the Blind Forest. These are games I have played in the last 3 months that I can think of off the top of my head.
These new games mean that I see remasters as a way to enjoy my old faves like Valkyria Chronicles, GTA5 or The Uncharted Collecti...
I love the Last of Us but the Joel and Ellie story arc was perfect in every way, I would prefer it if these characters were left out of any sequel personally, it was that ending that made the game so special.
I would love to play sequel after sequel in this universe though, I would love to experience this universe in other regions though and definately in other parts of the world. Imagine seeing how the outbreak had affected the UK or western Europe. Maybe even Africa or ...
Imagine both a remaster and sequel getting announced, I would flipping love that :)
Some more console exclusives for Playstation this month. Excited for Odinsphere and Star Ocean this month, not enough hours in the day to play all these games, my backlog is getting worse and worse.
I am guessing it wont be a sequel to The Order then. Its a shame as I loved the setting, characters and story in The Order, the gameplay was just fine too. I think a sequel would have strengthened the gameplay ad we coukd have been looking at a cracking game...what a bummer :(
The key thing for me is the exclusives. Playstation has them, XB1 doesn't, anything I was interested in for XB1 is coming out on my PC.
More rumours then.
I reckon the easiest job in the world would be to design a slimmer XB1, the current device is gigantic :)
I agree, the universe is so interesting the possibilities for new characters and locations are endless. Maybe set it outside of the US even?
What a load of utter nonsense.
Uncharted games are all about high adventure, they have never been grusome, brutal or gritty titles. Those fight sequences are completely inkeeping with the tone of the games, Nate is initially dismissive and even when he realises he is outmatched is wise cracking. Its not a realistic or brutal sequence, its fun, over the top and honestly, quite cool.
Thoughout the game Nadine clearly starts with a grudging respect for Na...
Spot on buddy, she was a great character. Its funny because the cut scenes allude to a grudging respect for Nate and Sully and as it develops she even concedes she is working with the wrong treasure hunter. Then when the fights happen they are just cool, martial arts sequences with Nathan underestimating her and joking the whole time he is getting tossed around. Its not like they are believable, brutal or graphic sequences.
Seems there are still a lot of immature males...
Because...video games!!!!!
Honestly, you are talking video games here, not a documentary.
You wont get much sense out of these insecure males fella.
As I stated elsewhere, the Uncharted games have never been gritty or realistic, they are all about adventure. Nate is quipping all the way through his encounters with Nadine, its not like the beating Drake takes is particularly graphic or brutal, its cool, OTT martial arts movie stuff.
How these people can accuse ND of bowing to some feminust agenda is beyond me when their last game features a br...
Utter bollocks, these are games of high adventure, not gritty realism. If you want to see a gritty game where strong female characters get brutalised and killed take a look at Naughty Dogs last effort. It didnt go well for Tess or Marlene in Last of Us as I recall.
Its a goddamn uncharted game, they are relatively easy going, high adventure games. The whole time Drake is getting beat he is wise cracking. I enjoyed the sequences immensely but then, I am not a teenager who is intimidated by the idea of a strong or independent woman.
In their last game, which is much darker and grounded, Joel brutally murders a black female character called Marlene, you still gonna tell me that ND are bending to the will of some perceived feminist age...
Its your loss then squire, the FACT is, Naughty Dogs games offer the best characters and stories in this medium, its not like showing consideration to how women are portayed has had a negative impact on thier titles. Their female characters have been well fleshed out, enjoyable and diverse.
Are you really that threatened or upset by having the likes of Elle, Nadine, Tess, Elena or Chloe, all incredible, believable characters, in your games?
What is wron...
No problem with people of any ethnicity chief, I have been playing career modes in sports games for years and the fun has always been in creating my avatar and leading him to glory on the pitch.
I personally thought this mode looked utterly cringeworthy, I want to play football not watch a poorly acted mellow drama.
Thanks for the insult though fella, you have a good day.
