IGN are a poor site, I unsubscribed from their youtube channel because it was nothing but very short occassional vids about games and loads of celebrity/movie news which I couldnt care less about.
I feel that their reviews are way out of step with my own feelings on games and the less said about most of their staff the better, while some may be good writers, they have all the charisma of a dead fish and are horrible to watch in their video content.
Gru, to compare homosexuals to pedophiles is one of the most insulting and dumbest things I have ever read on N4G.
You sir, are a moron.
Quite how the writer of the article has reached these conclusions from the developers comments I dont know. Is it down to poor comprehension skills or is he interpreting the comments to match his own agenda, either way its very shabby. I have voted the story/website accordingly.
Yeah, DriveClub has developed into an incredible racer, thats a good effort achieving a platinum fella.
I keep thinking about going back and platinum-ing Bloodborne, just 3 trophies to get.
Love a good trophy list. Platinumed Gravity Rush and Unravel last week, felt so good getting them, have no real way to explain why though.
It very much depends on the game for me. I would estimate I complete about %95 of games that I buy but if I stop enjoying a game I am happy to just drop it and move on.
I platinum-ed Gravity Rush on PS4 last night and intend to buy and platinum Unravelled this weekend but I have Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 on my shelf that I have not completed. After about 70 hours in each I just burned out on them and dropped them as I found that the gameplay was boring and I lost interest.
I think its both. I really struggle to think of a game other than Battlefront where I felt there was a lack of content.
When I look at what I have played in the last month alone I have no complaints at all. The Witness, Gravity Rush, Kerbal Space Program, Elite Horizons and the Bloodborne DLC, all offer a great time and in my opinion, good value for money.
For me there is no question that a decent portion of the gaming community are entitled. How on earth ...
How anyone can disagree with you I don't know. Blow's is one of the best in the business I think.
I have no problem with them catering for PC and XB1 users but they deliberately misled consumers when listing all the exclusives at last years E3.
I bought my XB1 on the strength of that E3 performance and more and more I realise that I could have played all these games on a PC that I already owned.
I am a bit miffed to be honest but not suprised either, its classic misdirection by MS yet again.
I have no problem with XB1 games going to PC per se, but I am annoyed that last E3 they touted exclusive after exclusive for the console.
It was after last years E3 that I picked up the XB1 and now all I seem to read it one exclusive after another is releasing to PC too. I could have saved that money and simply played on my PC had MS been up front with their intentions.
I think this is a legitimate reason to be annoyed with MS, its not simply fanboy sour g...
Its does irk me a bit. I bought an XB1 because of the exclusives they had announced. As time goes by its has become quite apparent that I shouldn't have bothered because I can play them all on my PC.
The XB1 was getting very little use as it is but I justified the purchase by telling myself the exclusives were coming. Well I will be playing those exclusives, but it looks like it will be on PC instead of the XB1. In fact I have just recently given the XB1 to my son to ...
Gutted as I just bought Elite Horizons for £40 last week and sure enough its in the sale. I did pick up the Total War bundle along with This War of Mine.....Steam sales are the worst, totallg irresistible :)
Its these kinds of titles that make love the Playstation brand, if this does get announced it will be day one for me despite completing it 3 times on ps3.....gimme them trophies!
This is a common misunderstanding with the public.
The owner of a mark has rights for the mark in its totality only. If you have rights for the word Candy for example, you would not automatically be able to prevent people using that word as part of their own brand, say a game called 'Sweeeet Candy Cane Columns' for example.
In the UK for example, King could oppose your application for 'sweeeet candy cane columns' but they would need to prove ...
As a trade mark examiner myself I have to laugh at all the comments here accusing Sony of behaving in some under hand way.
If the grounds for refusal are to be beleived then the USPTO felt the mark was acceptable as a mark (absolute grounds for refusal here in the UK) and the only thing preventing acceptance was an earlier right.
The USPTO are considered very lenient where these kind of marks are concerned, i suspect, due to the average US consumers rediness ...
Wish they would just confirm if it will see a US/EU version, where is the benifit in holding that info back, let fans know either way.
I want this so badly, while I have my original ps3 version I would kill for the chance to earn trophies on what would be my fifth playthrough.
My backlog is out of control but boy am I tempted to add Soma to it now.
Bought Bloodborne's DLC yesterday and have started another run through the full game again so I am busy for the forseable, nice problems to have I guess.
I absolutely agree with this article, nothing except maybe MGS5 came close to the gameplay of Bloodborne.
Its funny as I went back to play Dark Souls 2 after Bloodborne and I just couldnt get into it despite loving it before Bloodborne came out.
I would just give a shout out to Ori too, that game was damn near perfect too.
Unless they start counting some of the popular online retailers like Shopto or Simply Games you will never get a true reflection of sales figures.
The high street retailers they do monitor are absolute shysters who charge at least ten quid more than the online retailers on launch titles and will charge that price fof many months or years without adjusting their prices. This leads to situations where, for example, I can buy Tomb Raider for 27 quid online or go to the local G...
Try completing one or two of the levels without dying if you want a challenge - made the Platinum trophy quite tough in the end.
