They need to convince gamers that they are going to deliver games more than anything else because you know Sony will be showcasing more exciting new and already announced titles in their conference, MS need to do the same.

Still cannot shake the feeling, everytime I see this kind of article, that MS are so blind as to what gamers want. Instead of stories about exciting new titles we see this kind of nonsense about getting a game that has been free in the past and is pretty irrelevant these days.

I love my Japanese software, always have. When I think about the last few months alone with the likes of Yakuza, Gravity Rush 2, Nioh, Zelda, Last Guardian, Final Fantasy, Let it Die and Neir it really is mind blowing how many utterly fantastic games have been released recently.

MS lost the goodwill of lots of gamers when they stopped supporting the 360 for the last 3 years or so of its life cycle, nothing but Forza and Halo were released whereas Sony continued to drop exclusive after exclusive. The XB1 launch was a disaster and the way they have handled first and second party software this gen has shown a complete lack of desire to spend on developing and investing in the medium .

The expression is 'all intent and purposes', XBLive offers nothing that PSN doesn't at this point, it's UI is terrible and the question over which controller is better really is just a matter of opinion.
All 10 of those games are worthwhile, but leaving out the likes of Until Dawn, Neir Automata, Yakuza, Last Guardian, Disgaea or Gravity Rush 2 is questionable in my opinion.
Bloodborne just about beats out Uncharted 4 as my favourite game on PS4, buts it's bloomin' close!
Needlessly negative in my opinion, I still enjoy many PS3 titles to this day, the library of games on that console is utterly fantastic.

God almighty I loved Burnout Paradise, as close to a perfect arcade racer as it gets in my opinion. Loved me some Ridge Racer too as it goes, along with Wipeout the PS1 was littered with quality racing titles.

Agreed, while I am sure Zelda is a great game, it is amazing that it's performance issues and this 'DLC by the back door' are completely glossed over by the mainstream media.

While I adore the Souls games and Bloodborne, it is kind of exciting to think that they are free to work on a completely new IP and speculate on what that might be.
I do think they would be crazy to move away from the 3rd person action RPG games they are famous for but you just never know, look what Naughty Dog did once they moved away from their platform game roots.
