Here we go, through out the whole conference they suggested everything was 4K native at 60fps, now that this email claims are being scrutinised it's all unravelling.
Now I personally don't mind a dynamic 4K, the games on my pro look great, but if MS are making such an effort to allude to everything being 4K native then they deserve to be called out on it.
Yup, as a Welshman, I was all about drippy, he was flaming tidee butt. 😃
What's this? A Microsoft exec being evasive and liberal with the facts......surely you are mistaken! 🤔
But can they create a character as awesome as Drippy, that is the question 🙂
Most of that probably went into the R&D of the Scorpio I would guess. The problem is, nobody was asking for Scorpio, we were asking for investment in games studios, earn the good will of the community by delivering exclusives
Excited for this game, the Metro games are fantastic, this was where the XB conference peaked for me.
I am actually a touch disappointed as I was hoping they might announce a remaster of the first game on PS4 for me to blast through before the sequel launched. Given how soon the sequel release, I feel like it's unlikely we will see the remaster now.
Ah well, still super excited for more Nino Kuni
It's not confusing to those who are clued up, but it's clear obfuscation by MS, Spencer started the conference by declaring he was about to show 22 exclusives.
They just never learn, every year they have to offer clarifications via Twitter etc after being called out by the community.
Thank you Pricey, that was exactly the point I was making.
Spencer directly lied by stating they were going to reveal 22 exclusives only to show almost every title was a 'console launch exclusive'. It is so stupid, the people into games enough to watch E3 are, for the most part, well aware of the difference between exclusives and timed exclusives , so for MS to try that bullshit is really insulting.
I honestly couldn't believe how few true exclusives they had to show, I was actually shocked. Sea of Thieves looked really cool but I thought Crackdown looked very poor, considering the hype about destructible environments and being so advanced it was only possible with cloud computing. Then State of Decay, what is there to say other than looked like a 360 title to be honest, 4K isn't going to change anything about poor artstyle, weak animation and duff textures.
...
Same old MS, hide the truth and treat the consumer like they are too stupid to see through their bullshit......quite honestly, it's insulting!
I really was open to letting MS sell me the Scorpio but as soon as they used their slippery wordplay again, claiming they had 22 exclusives, only to then label them as 'console launch' titles, I was reminded just how full of shit they are.
I just hate that kind of obfuscation they always employ, they basically had 3 or 4 exclusives, that we already knew about. That's it for me for the time being, they had nothing other than 2 or 3 indies that interested me. Re...
Arrrrgggggg, I almost cannot watch, I honestly don't remember a time when I have cringed so much. So far every presenter has been terrible, they should realise it isn't possible to fake excitement, they should stop the constant pausing to allow for non existent applause....they should just stop!
Just play the fu**ing games, enough with the jumping between ropey presenters.
Also, did EA not get the memo that no StarWars fan worth his salt likes E...
This is absolutely awful, stilted presenters, barely any game play! EA haven't got a clue.
I have always felt that there is a sizeable element of US media demonstrating a clear bias to MS, a fellow US company, this is a classic example. This is absolutely terrible, completely untrue and it has been clearly demonstrated that MS are far worse at announcing titles early.
The thing is, they could choose to publish a story about the trend in the entertainment industry to announce projects early, or even direct it at the gaming industry at large and they might be ra...
For an outfit named 'businessinsider' to spew out this kind of nonsense just demonstrates that they really are not living up to their name.
A poor article published by a joke of a website who haven't got the first clue about the gaming industry or gaming culture.
I personally think they shouldn't bother, the mobile market is quite limited these days and I am not sure that market can support 2 devices, not when everyone already has a mobile phone in their pocket.
I personally think it's still too early to call Switch a success, while it has had a great launch, it's how it is performing in 12 months time that will be telling. If, a year from now, all you have is Zelda, Splatoon and Mario, backed up with a bunch of indie...
Played it at a mates house and it was absolutely fine, I didn't notice any lag of any kind. Had I noticed any lag, I could have used it as an excuse for the arse kicking I got 😃
As a Sony fan, I think Sony barely put a foot wrong this generation however, it seems clear to me which service is better and that is Game Pass.
In reality it doesn't matter to me though as I buy my games, usually on or near release so I never need to use these kinds of service, I am all about my games collection.
I think both MS and Sony could never live up to the hype this year.
MS set themselves up to fail by hyping the hell out of Scorpio and failing to demonstrate anything that demanded the Scorpio's power, then ignored the industries biggest complaint, the lack of exclusive games.
Sony really surprised me this year, while everything they showed looked amazing, the lack of any new AAA, marquee titles was disappointing. I guess the argument is that living...
