Not to be a Nintendo apologist, but I don't give a damn about iPad, i want to play Zelda, Mario and Splatoon.
As a fan of Nintendo's software, i would love for them to make a conventional console that can hang in there with their competitors in respect of 3rd party, as it stands, i look at Nintendo consoles as supplementary to my PS4 and PC.
I am playing the shit out of my WiiU again at the moment, trying to play everything that interests me on th...
This is the only Mario title I have not played, i was into PC in a big way back then.
I would love to play it, just to form my own opinion and this article has raised my desire to try it even more. Is there an easy way to play it without investing in the original hardware and copy of the game? I am at work so cannot visit Nintendo Arcade on my WiiU.
Agreed, both games are really good titles, this is a bargain for sure.
Absolutely cracking game, i was just 3 trophies away from a platinum on the PS4. If you haven't played it yet its defo worth a look, some of the highest production values I have seen in a game, it looks and sounds fantastic.
I am not a comic book guy at all, I have a passing interest in the more mainstream characters like Batman or Spiderman and although I loved the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, i had never heard of those characters before the movies.
I would say I am probably typical of the average gamer then, i am aware of the Hulk as a character, I watched the tv show as a kid growing up in the 80s, but I just don't care about the Hulk today. The character doesn't enjoy the same l...
I feel sorry for you if you can see no value in games such as Mario, Zelda or Splatoon, you must by a completely joyless individual. Where do you draw the line then, will you play a game like Final Fantasy with giant mountable chickens? Will you play the likes of Fable 2 or Borderlands 2, how about Crackdown or Sea of Thieves? What about Crash Bandicoot or Persona 5?
I am playing Mario Galaxy on my WiiU at the moment and it is an utterly magical experience. You need to br...
Barely anything of interest though squire, and i say that as someone who enjoys his PC. Anything worthwhile gets a multiplatform release, even Indies which used to be the PC's bread and butter go to consoles if they are good enough.
I nearly bought Shadow Tactics in the Steam sale but have decided to see what the PS4 version is like next month. A few years ago the idea of a game like that going to consoles would have been unthinkable, now, all devs know there is money...
I am in exactly the same boat buddy, i have decided to wait for Mario's release in the hope they release a cool bundle of some kind.
Getting my Mario fix on the WiiU at the moment, playing through Galaxy 1 and 2 again 😁
Also had some of the best exclusives I ever played, i am playing Mario Galaxy at the moment.
So you don't enjoy it.......good for you, move on like others do and play something else. Writing a clickbait article for a nothing website about a game that is overwhelmingly enjoyed is exactly the kind of thing that turns N4G into the toxic cesspit it is.
Here is an idea, write a positive article about a game you do enjoy and foster a positive mood and discussion here and you might draw people to your site who enjoy your content instead of people being baited to vi...
Clearly most Japanese titles don't enjoy mass market appeal but they are still popular enough that various publishers sole business is bringing Asian titles to the west. These games cannot simply be ignored and that is why Sony and Nintendo do so well world wide as opposed to Xbox which has barely any support from Asia and as a result sees success in the US only.
I cannot imagine not playing Persona, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, Tokyo Jungle, Catherine, Bayonetta, Gravity ...
Hmmmm, as much as I am enjoying Persona 5, I think back to the likes of Baldurs Gate 2, Skyrim, Neverwinter Nights, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy 7 and Planescape Torment as games that defined RPG's when they released whereas Persona 5 is kind of typical of a JRPG.
Outside of its stellar presentation it is very much a Persona game, it hasn't revolutionised RPGs in any meaningful way. This isn't to downplay just how fantastic Persona 5 is, it is a tremendous title and...
I feel like it's just about right if you want to play through the game and beat it. For me, it became frustrating because I want to platinum it and earning those coloured gems without dying in extremely tough....i will do it, i am determined!
I quite like my Japanese titles to have the Japanese voice work with English subtitles personally, it is interesting to think about the Japanese gamer and their preferences for western titles.
Nope, even if things were slow for PS4 initially, which is actually not the case in my experience, Sony fans know that Sony always deliver when it comes to exclusives. I knew i could buy my PS4 at launch and the games would definately arrive.
This kind of article, or more precisely, the comments sections of these article make me so sad.
Why it bothers people so much that someone is expressing a desire to demonstrate respect and acceptance for each other in a medium of their choice is beyond me. Every creator out there, whether a movie director, a novelist, a painter or a game developer is guided by their own experiences, wants, desires, political leanings, religious beliefs etc.
The thing I t...
Sorry, but to me there is absolutely nothing next gen about this, let alone being enough to justify the XB1X. It looks so average, hell, Sunset Overdrive or Infamous Second Son looked more original and exciting than this.
It honestly looks like a remastered 360 game, not just in respect of its production values but in its game design too. It makes me wonder what they have been doing for the last 4 years.
Agreed, i honestly loved every moment I spent with Bloodborne, not once was I hampered by performance, not once did I stop to think about 60fps or 4K. The whole time I spent earning my platinum was an absolute joy!
To be precise, you have about 5 iterations of most of those game types you mentioned.
Again, no need to be so defensive, i love Mario too but to make statements about variety when you work for Ninty is a bit rich.
Exactly, the fact is, a game like Mario, Splatoon or Zelda demands a high purchase price given the cost of making the game, most iOS users would never, in a million years, pay more than a few pounds for any game, let alone £30 - £50.
That market just doesn't want to support games developers in the same way the typical console/PC gamer does, they expect to pay a few quid tops for a game.
