The speed is what the dev was eluding to. Whomever wants either console isn’t going to choose solely based off speed alone, but ps5 will be much faster for majority of their games if the professional developers who have both consoles are anything to go by.
Show me one article where a dev has said that the xsx is faster than the ps5
He probably wanted to mention the xbox hardware to maintain credibility. It’s very obvious by now that the minor tflop difference between xbsx & ps5 won’t ever be noticeable. It just won’t. When the differences are that minuscule it’s going to be up to the devs to use their talent in tandem with the hardware to bring out realistic visuals. Same way as it was this and last gen. God of War for example used amazing wizardry to push the envelope of the PS4. It will stand tall visually with a...
Really hoping the rumors are true that Capcom’s heavily invested financially into a sequel

A steelbook should be a mandatory given, but it’s the “real world” items that matter the most (to me), to make it an original and unique attachment to the lore of the world. CD Project Red comes to mind for where the bar should be set
Agreed 100%. THQ dropping the ball on their recent collector’s editions. Both on content and price point.
Gameplay loop and progression purpose will be a key factor, for me at least
Really hoping for a damn rpg from Japan
^ The first sentence of your comment
Raising a companies’ cap from 10 million to 53 billion seems to warrant the salary in my opinion. The pay cut should depend on the overall percentage reduction they would expect him to take, plus if any of that would potentially be turned into incentive bonuses under his leadership
Is it wrong to ask how long servers will be down for?
It’s cozy
Really hoping the Japan Studio second project is an RPG. Both Japan Studio and London Studio are amazing developers that can accomplish anything, they need to work on more ambitious titles. Such wasted potential when London solely worked on Singstar. Lol have a different developer handle that franchise back then, it made no sense.
At $500 ($550+ after tax) with only a handful of launch ps5 exclusives and majority of ps4 library, they better have BC to at least PS3 gen to justify the price and warrant the “value” that Jim Ryan spoke about
They should just make a handheld that can handle PS5 (or BC ps games) games (similar to switch where the compromise is lower resolution & performance). No separate games exclusively for the handheld. This in my opinion is why the vita failed. They had all these great games coming to the ps4 at the same time so it essentially was as if they were competing against themselves. This would solve that issue.
@sophisticated chap
Thank goodness someone else on here has sensible logic & intellect. You said it perfectly. Why on earth would anyone argue or disagree with this logic. It’s literally MINDBLOWING
I’m on the same page as you. There are countless other amazing PS3 games with trophy support that would be great to be able to put into my newest console so it can be the only device needed in the room. This is also my personal opinion, but I don’t even mind doing without psone & ps2 games, ps3 is the generation that “I” personally prefer. But if they can do it all that would be even better
Your comment in and of itself sounds uneducated and foolish. Your misinterpretation of my comment also showcases your lack of comprehension. And I will be buying it day one. Lol good luck
Going to be real disappointed if they don’t make ps3 games backwards compatible. Many consumers own just as many ps3 games as ps4 and it’d be a shame to not be able to use those on the new system
I was aware that this was a Square Enix article. Dragon’s Dogma is an excellent IP so I went ahead and steered towards Capcom for my comment
