I had the exact same issue, The concept was fun at first, but after it wore off it became a grind to the finish line. It was ok but certainly would not suggest it as game of the year.
Each to their own tastes of course though.
Actually the monster cables also have an extremely high hertz output, So if you plan to use it for a PC that can push more than 60FPS, then you can have the comfort of wiring it up to your TV knowing you wont have a frame limit cap. It does have advantages, they just are not huge, its upgrade system is its biggest advantage but yes, it does actually have some technical advantages too
Thanks for the heads up, That's some pretty amazing prices there, Even the £139 is good value. I really wasn't expecting it to fall that much
Hideo Kojima is making MGS3 for 3DS. Do you think it would be particularly wise for him to not be impressed with its tech?
Personally I think the 3D looked horrid, I want one for a few games but certainly not for 3D
I might Import at that price, Its all PAL in Ireland too anyway. Works out to be cheaper than it will be in the UK
You know, that actually is a really good feature in that context, I have actually put off Bundle purchases because of owning 1 of the games
I got one too but you missed, the best feature, Anytime a superior lead is made you can upgrade for free, This deal is also endless, In that you can use it multiple times to upgrade over and over, handy when 3D came around.
However I got it bagged in with an expensive TV, No way I was going to pay that asking price
Agreed, I buy things that my laptop can't run even though my desktop isn't complete yet. But I still boot it up and give it a go, Hell even if its chugging at about 10-15FPS I still play like the first half hour so I can get a bit of insight into what I purchased
Problem is like a lot of the UK I have a 6Mb limit, As much as I would like to try the service, There is no point, Especially since the UK's largest internet provider suffers horrible peak time speeds
Would like to see the service grow but I think there is a lot more that needs to grow first, something the company doesn't have the finance to control either
At the risk of being flamed, I personally managed to find things I could enjoy in all recent sonic games, In fact I would go as far as to say I preferred both 360/Ps3 releases to Sonic Colors as it felt more like a mario game to me.
But this game has both me and my partner excited, And she ONLY likes retro sonic, and after the demo she cannot wait for it. I would say that speaks a lot to me personally, Because she also hated Sonic 4 Episode 1. And for me its the best of both,...
Well to be fair, MS should go back to investing in having some exclusive JRPG's again if it wants success there. Like maybe LO2 would be a good start, Then fire up Tri-Ace again, Haven't heard of them being busy for a while anyway
@Infernostew, Deep down I know you are right lol. I just would really like some sequels to some of those earlier JRPG's.
Most of that looked PS2 quality and you want that for next gen?
Dont then pay a few hundred, If you have an Xbox and PS3, you can afford a PC that wipes the floor with them both.
I think the point would be don't knock it just because your not in on it. Multiplats can actually go beyond better textures and higher framerates you know? When you get a CUDA enabled game or PhysX enabled game you get a good few features added that can entirely change the way game objects operate.
I think your looking at it the wrong way tho...
PS3 fans don't. PS3 Fanboys do. As a PS3 fan I am fully aware of how hardware works in coherence with software progression. Hell as a fan I am happy to point out that Heavenly Sword maxed out the PS3 when it released. Its all about progression. Many games max out the consoles, exclusive or multiplat, Last Remnant on 360 pushes the console a lot further than it was ever intended to go but is not optimised well.
I am a fan of all the consoles and will happily admit my lapto...
Ahh Uplay, A useless feature where you can download a pass to allow you to access features already in the game after playing games where the achievable points are less than the in-game rewards cost :/
Anybody been in the Resistance beta yet? Want to try it but haven't had the time
On Topic: Kinda hoping for a bit more variety in the plus section but whatever, first bad week for a while anyway and there is a beta in there too so I wont complain
Not really sure why you even felt the need to include KZ, I could certainly pick out PS3 games too if it bothers you, just Dom and Marcus come to mind the most.
If I was to be entirely honest I personally hardly had any connection with the KZ cast to pick up any traits like that, I suppose in that way you could say I got more into Gears actually
Edit: actually until KZ3 I couldn't even remember their names
You have a solid point there, sales would likely outweigh the loss in money, Only conflict I could actually imagine would be maybe PS plus users would see their weekly free game value decrease. It would be a very good idea though, If I could pick up PS1 titles at that price I would certainly have a larger PS1 library on my PS3
Wow, never knew that, Thanks for the info man. My only real worry is that even if you knife the dog in time, You gotta run for cover before it blows you to bits. The auto grenade launcher would certainly keep those dogs at bay too though lol
I really do not like the quotes there, Just sounds like an evolving monopoly in which we have no control over our purchased content.
I know it's slowly going that way anyway but seriously, to hear them encourage it sucks
