I'm not sure I understand the reviewers complaint about its theme, It sounds like he was disappointed that it was a game about choices instead of pressing buttons to have sex? :/
Yes, it provoked conversation about such topics in many different ways. However the most obvious method I would have to say is actually the questions it forces you to answer at the end of each level, Some of these questions are extremely deep, Things you would never normally even ask someone. Me and my partner found ourselves asking each other what their true answer would be
@ksense
Not trying to say you are not entitled to your opinion, but ND are a franchise a console, FACT.
They re-stated this for like the billionth time just a few days ago, What they make will surpass Uncharted anyway so who cares. Trust them to do it, because they did with both Crash and Jak and Daxter
Yet if you was an adult instead of a kid you would see that actually the game has a very mature theme, one which both me and my partner enjoyed together, it also provoked us to talk about our relationship in ways we never have before, Prodding us into talking about things couples usually avoid for comfort.
So me and my partner who have been together for years are apparently under-sexed pervs. Yet you clearly were not mature enough to handle the theme of the game so I don'...
The only color blind people I have ever met only see colors as the wrong colors?
Not disputing what you said just genuinely wasn't aware there was a form of color blind that can cause that
And I agree about the top statement you made, Personally I am more hyped for OLED than 3D.
Actually that's just US, we haven't got it in the EU yet officially. My import rocked though :)
But on topic, I wouldn't say it has proved too much yet, its proved they can sell but it hasn't netted them an established place in the industry for such games yet. Catherine may have been a one off, because it is definitely something special
@Elwenil
I think we may have crossed wires lol, I don't disagree that it will not do massive damage to the game, especially since most sales will be made on consoles, But from a management point of view, For EA it would be pretty good to boost Origin. Yet for dice, it will mean some extent of loss. I think from a management view it would be better for it to release on steam also, But this is only beneficial particularly to the devs and not the publishers.
@malol ...
Biggest problem with mobile tech is it is getting very close to its peak now, something we will likely see pretty soon. The Nm is only going to be able to decrease so far, after that leakage becomes an issue. The fact that battery is the only available source of power is its limit.
Until we overcome leakage issues at such low Nm's (unlikely altogether) or invent a new power source its peak will continue to close faster and faster. Yet even more damaging is the fact that m...
Take your own advice.
Over the Summer Steam Sale there was more than 3 million users on a regular basis, A rather large quantity of those people will be Steam loyal users due to the simplicity of only needing one program and not filling your computer with things you don't need.
Consider how many people will not want to install Origin for 1 game. Consider the lowered price point of games on Steam, Consider the increase of purchases during the summer sale. ...
No thanks, I can find better deals for that money actually and I would rather have a proper Sony than a substitute for the real deal.
But just have to ask, what in the living hell do they mean by is it worth jumping into 3d, because as far as I remember, we haven't been 2D since mega-drive II. It would make sense if the 3D in tv's was 3D, but its only a deception of the human brain so the term technically is being used over something that IS actually 3D, even if viewe...
And that would be useful how? If you want replaceable ram then buy a PC lol.
The entire point of consoles is to have a system that runs equal for everybody, So if a game works on 1 it works on the next, Without people needing to replace parts.
If that trend came in next-gen, console owners would be half what it was this gen if not less since the majority of gamers are people looking to kill a bit of time quick and easy
Wasn't aware that you had your full copy and completed it, Well I thank you for the extra enjoyment, Now beside enjoying the game, I can also enjoy knowing it boils you inside that people will enjoy it
Surely you cannot be trying to implicate its worth keeping something somebody now sees as dead weight for 4 games (1 of which isn't exclusive)
I still have my 360 but I can say in all honesty its got nothing to do with even one of those games you mentioned, The only reason its still here is because of the library I built up for it and a few older exclusives. Its a good console, and its good to have around when a PS3 multiplat is having issues, But I wouldn't keep it k...
Its going to be hard to play out such cards over a game while the competing console also has an issue, Such as disc quantity. This will also be the first multi-disc FPS I have ever noticed. It may well be the first ever but I wouldn't want to suggest it without knowing for sure. But if that is the case, then I would suggest this could also spark a 'X console is doomed' trend
Lol I know what you mean, I have my franchises I stand by too.
Yeah more or less, although actually PC was the worst platform for issues, If you had anything more than 2 threads, It would Instafreeze unless you edit the .ini's threading specifications
Oddly enough the ini supported 4 threads, but needed changing to 2 to operate properly
Personally I hope that next gen releases when solid state is more viable. Texture pop in begone!
Did you even look at the link, I can't say anything on Disgaea 4 collection as I have not seen it, But that dead island collection at $71 is most certainly getting your moneys worth.
That's what bad management does. And I know I will likely get slammed for this but its my honest opinion, I'm surprised it even hit 4 million. After the murder cases I just lost all interest and wanted it to end, but it wouldn't. And all that DLC added to the story making that ending even more of a grind. Basically as soon as the fun of picking up on lies wore off (or exposed its weaknesses) I just lost all interest.
Especially within a couple chapters in Arsen wh...
