Only disagreed because it is actually not a sequel, but a spiritual successor. Different universe, but yes it looks fantastic
at around 5:10 you get a close up of a pretty low rez texture, It is still alpha at the moment but I would hope to see better textures on PS3 by the end product. Having said that this game is using a lot of features that use a large amount of resources, So it is not entirely unexpected to have to make cutbacks in other areas.
Yeah the timing is impeccable, Plus I have to say, for a game put on indefinite hold, They clearly spent a good while fine tuning a lot of that gameplay section, Cameras etc.
I really have a strong feeling that Eight Days is coming off hold very very soon

I'm a splinter cell fan and in all honesty it just didn't cut it for me, I remember playing double agent on 360, and I really enjoyed sneaking through all the levels undetected even though it was nowhere near as good as the originals.
Conviction kind of stole that, I can't even remember the game too well now, but I remember there being too many forced firefights for a splinter cell game
Article makes it sound like they're giving the whole game away lol. DX11 would be cool I think but would anyone other than NASA be able to play it?
Personally I want to see more the game optimised more first, Since for DX9 it cries for power in colossal ways. Crysis on medium gets me 40FPS on a laptop, Low on the Witcher is about 10FPS lol. I hope my rig can do it when it's finished
Have you heard of any others having money taken out after the point reductions? I'm not trying to dispute the possibility, Just this is the first I have heard of anyone losing money after the reduction.
If others have it certainly is worth keeping an eye on as that would indicate it was certainly not a contained incident.
And also, sorry to hear it man. I know its only 10 and all but it makes you worry how much it could have been/could be next time.
Pretty sure it will too, to me oblivion was great, yet somehow lifeless even though the game world is filled with life. Skyrim seems to fix this a lot from what we keep hearing
It's not, this is the general type of hacking that xbox live actually suffers on a much more common basis than some imagine, But its contained, it always tends to be direct attacks at a sole individual.

Personally I think the lack of 'fun' that he suggests, and I personally disagree with, had more to with linearity. Although some areas had multiple paths, often it was 1 way only, and the goal was always the same. In a way it felt like a huge training mission ready for the sequel.
I hope for an open world sequel personally, that and the addition of many other objects to get around on (why did I never get to slide down a crane like at the beginning?) would make the gam...
Yeah but for the gameplay, CC looks better, I honestly do hope they go back for another castle crashers at some point, To me it was like a hybrid of RPG elements mixed with Streets of Rage. I can't see that same mix in many other games that are of the quality level of CC

Wind waker was also fantastic, my personal favorite, and probably the longest zelda game so far
Just for you, FFXII just taken off my laptop, emulated at the original ps2 emulation then at 1920x1080, are you honestly going to tell me the first picture looks better? this is without enabling AA and enhanced shaders etc. and including icreased FPS
