No it doesn't. No HD collection "needs" to be announced the when the original games are still available.
What they need to do is take that money and time and make new games, and if people want the old games that badly then release them on the Nintendo network. There are already a number on the 3DS eshop

The controller has no specs, its just a controller. And Nintendo released "that type" of controller long before the ipad was ever a thought. It was called the Nintendo DS.
Suda said multiple times that he will make NMH3 for the Wii U. The last comment he made about it was that he hadn't yet received a Wii U dev kit. That, more than anything else, is the likely reason why the games haven't been announced for the console yet.
No more heroes on the Nintendo Wii was Suda51's best selling single game "ever" out of every game he has ever been involved with. His second best selling single game was No More Heroes 2 on the Wii.
The games he made on the PS3 and 360 sold horribly without even taking into account the increased dev cost he had for those consoles.

No, the games they are waiting for, are Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Rayman Origins, the new Monolith Soft game, and Lego City undercover.

Ugh, that is one of the things I disliked the most on the PS3.
Releasing the exact same game only with support for higher resolutions is a terrible thing to me. I would rather that money and time be spent on bringing us and actual new game.
