Actually, saying certain or some games support the feature is also misleading. "MOST" games support the feature, as in over 50%.

The games they made for the Wii U did just that. It runs at 1080p at 60 FPS while outputting 60 FPS on another screen as well.
They also made near if not the "best" looking 3rd party games on the Wii, and they did in less than 40MB.
They did things with the Wii graphically that huge developers like EA, Activision, THQ and Ubisoft couldn't come close to doing.

The Wii U is already doing well actually. Not making astronomical profits like the Wii did in the same time frame in no ways points to failure as it is still making a profit.
The Wii U only needs games to sale which is currently doesn't have many of. Once games that people actually want to play start hitting the shelf, the Wii U will start leaving the shelf.
It already had huge appeal with them and the best games currently on it are the Nintendo shop games.

Whether or not a game runs at 1080p 60fps is all entirely up to the developer. Its a matter of resource limits.
You will never see all games 1080 60fps because no matter how much you can do with a game at 1080p 60fps, you can do twice at much at 30 and even more at a lower resolution.
If its not 30fps, you can be guaranteed that its not doing all the console can do.

Actually, no it doesn't. The textures are slightly higher res and their are various graphical enhancements. There is also no screen tearing. The load times are also shorter.
Even the in the video you posted of the Wii U version, the guy says that its exactly the same as the PS3/360 version except the graphics are more polished.
The framerate and texture loading issues could easily be patched though I doubt they ever will. Its no fault of the Wii U's c...

Releasing the exact same game only with support for higher resolutions is a terrible thing to me. I would rather that money and time be spent on bringing us and actual new game.
