The only people who didn't like that Nintendo direct are people who didn't like Nintendo before it. You can't convince a biased person.
There is nothing you can do for them. They will push hatred forward no matter what.
Their opinions are irrelevant because they aren't open minded opinions. They want the worst to happen and will spin everything negatively. Taking what they say as a valid point achieves nothing except making their ill conceive...
Its nice to learn how such great companies came about.
Vita's a different story(a year at the bottom is a lot different than 2 months in the middle) but, I agree with you pretty much otherwise.
I still don't see how Nintendo is "struggling" though. How does slightly above average sells equal struggling? I thought struggling meant failing continuously.
Every time I look at the Wii U's sells. It picks up just a little more each week.

Were you watching the x and y video in 3D?
Its a 3DS game, so when they say 3D worlds, they literally mean "3D".
I figured that would be common sense.
It doesn't surpass Xenoblade and the The Last Story.
I thought the overall opnion of Ni no Kuni in Japan was that is was nice but nothing exceptionally great.
Maybe not upcoming gamers on Sony and Microsofts consoles, but Sonic the Hedgehog games are still million sellers on Nintendo's hardware.
I'm sure tradional gamers who still like variety will be happy to buy another Sonic game.
We aren't obessed with shooters and street racing.
He's been alive and well on Nintendo consoles since Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
If you don't want him, that is fine. The Nintendo fanbase and the classic SEGA fanbase will be having fun without you.
This is miles beyond anything that GTANYTHING has pulled.
There is no could. There has been no racing game as detailed to date.
I always thought all of these new games and collaborations were part of Nintendo's following through with their claim to focus more on the core gamer audience.
I guess hit grabbing journalists with a low opinion of Nintendo know more than the company itself.
Every good or new thing they do is somehow spinned into an act of desperation or something else condescending.
Waait, so you Nintendo is expected to sell as many copies of a game as have been sold on a console with litteraly over 20X the userbase and has a history of huge sales of that game?
By raw sales data, their launch still outdid the PS3 and 360 launches respectably. If that is failing, then Sony and Microsoft must have been bleeding to death when they started last gen.
Have you read this yet? It was their comment on the Wii U.

I will be nice to see just how much the scale has been upped some the previous versions. Maybe this one will be open world.
Wow, they still manage to put a negative slant on it. Gaming journalism makes me sick. Nintendo was never desperate.
I guess the act of releasing any new games at all is now an act of desperation. I didn't know they were suppose to leave their library empty and never make anything else.
It was no question that they had games. It was only a question of when they would announce them and then release them. I guess the release of Orbis and the Durango will 36...
Do we really need a video to showcase screenshots?
You apparently didn't watch any of the feed.
3 of the games were new I.P.s.
You probably just read the title and few comments(if that much) then jumped to a conclusion like most of the commentators on here.
Wow, the Sony fanboys and anti-Nintendo trolls came out in full force quickly to try and crap on this news. They must really be feeling defensive.
The bitterness leaking from the comments is burning my eyes.
Yet, I cannot count the number of times I've heard Sony fanboys bring up "The Last of Us" for the PS3 and "Soul Sacrifice" for the Vita. lol.
You and me both brother. Nintendo is bringing the heat this gen.
I've never seen Nintendo even suggest that they are aiming for Wii sales levels. In fact I thought they said "specifically" that the Wii U was for people with high disposable income and that they were refocusing their direction with it.
I'm pretty certain that is what they said.
The Wii U was aimed at a completely different audience than the Wii from the start. Nintendo made it clear that they were focusing on core gamers with this system an...
