It is a last gen game. They aren't going to spend 15 million dollars to completely rebuild the game from scratch for the Wii U.

He says that other than the framerate, everything is is just as good or better. The framerate issue could be patched, but I doubt they will do it.
The only thing that keeps it from being the best is the framerate stuttering.
Not a chance in hell of a price cut anytime soon as the price has nothing to do with it not outpacing the Wii(its only behind by like 10% in sells and that is still almost more than the PS3/360 sold combined in the same time frame during their launch.)
People didn't buy the Wii U to play old PS3/360 ports, they bought it to play stuff like Zombiu, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 and Rayman Legends.

The problems with AC Armored Edition is slow RAM(the reports on the RAM were off), its just a bad porting job. The frame rate spikes alone point to that. If it was ported properly, even if the frame rate dipped occasionally, it would never exceed the cap which it does frequently.

Action-adventure is a genre, not a franchise, and no Mario game is action-adventure to my knowledge. They are mostly "platformers". Zelda is action-adventure. Its also an RPG, though people don't like to consider it that because it not like what they are used to. That's why I like Nintendo though. They keep bring new things to the table.

Nothing has changed. This is just a special deal at one business. The basic set still doesn't "come with" Nintendo Land and it is still $299 as it always was.

I've played it far beyond the first hour. I was about halfway through with all of the time segments when it became to boring to keep playing.
Out of all the RPGs released this year, that game wouldn't make my top 25 much less 10.
I get where he's comming from. Regardless of how "less bad" it was compared to FF-XIII, its a far cry from one of the 10 best RPGs of 2012.

This could only ever effect someone who traveled to a foreign country with just their gamepad, and who in their right mind would just bring his controller and not his console with it when their is no situation where they could use it anyway? There are no games that use two Wii U Gamepad yet, and anybody who had one in a foreign country would have a gamepad.
