Maybe mine was defective in that regard. What about the charging moves? Were you able to pull those off? BTW, I took the controller with me to a friend's house and let two other SF players use it. 2 SF players that are much better than me at the game btw and have probably owned every installment of the game. I'm surprised that the whole world seems to like and praise this darn thing and yet I found it to be a horrible controller.
Never felt like I got to explore the gritty cities as much as I would've liked to. The setting and characters are some of the best ever in an RPG. I'd love to revisit that game. If they wanted to do something ala FFVII crisis core and not something involving the main characters, I guess I'd have to accept that. But facing Seiphroth with Cloud again would be pure awesome.

Would 50 be a substantial enough cut? To the guys that paid launch prices for PS3s, getting one for 349.99 seems like a steal. But we are not the general gaming public that walks into a store and sees a 360 for 200 bucks less than a PS3. One hundred dollars is the perfect price point for PS3. I was really optimistic about MS entering the gaming division last gen. Copying CDs onto my Xbox hard drive was so sweet. Heck, having a hard drive was amazing in it of itself. No more memory cards thanks to my Xbox.
This gen it's like MS took four steps forward while taking 7 back. Hopefully the next Xbox isn't as prone to the same problems as the 360.
