Not bad. Release a bundle in the states with MGS4 and KZ2, design the PS3 in some limited edition style, and include a dualshock and a headset and watch the sales fly.

Okay, that said I think KZ2 should've beaten Halo Wars. It wasn't a real Halo game. It's a niche genre that's never worked on consoles (more or less) that happens to borrow a very successful FPS license. That said, Halo Wars isn't even a really good game according to some reviews. I have yet to play the demo because everyone I know that owns an Xbox deletes it shortly after playing it.

That may account for this. Look, we all know that the PS3 is the choice of the two in Japan. If 360 beats the console over there its because Square released another JRPG for it. The lead doesn't last as evidenced by last week's sales numbers.

if it was on PS3 I'd get it. I'm starved for a good JRPG. Seems like Square has yet to make a really epic one (at least in terms of critical acclaim) but just the fact that this one isn't horid while so many others has been is a good enough for me. So yeah, I'd pick it up right now and thats with me having SF4 and KZ2 to play all day.

and GS is hoping to sell you a PS3 for full price and compensate you with.....a 15 dollar bill! That's right, if you buy a new game with that giftcard you still owe 15 bucks (including taxes in NY at least). Not true if you get a used game I guess. All the price drop talk is probably hurting PS3 sales a bit as everyone is waiting for it to drop by 100 bucks.
I don't know how anyone could let a company treat them like this. Sets a sad precedent for gamers.

but not that game Tobal. I remember when I picked it up and finished disc one. I remember the emotion the game invoked by the time I finished. IT wasn't FF3 (for the SNES), and it didn't let me explore the city as much as I'd hoped, but it was one of the best games I'd ever played.
God I hope there's a remake or sequel to that game on the PS3.
MGS4 was the first. God of War III will rule them all.

and is perhaps one of the most unbiased gaming sites out there. Gamespot, on the otherhand, has a long way to go to become credible in my eyes. Not because of the grammatical accuracy of some of their articles (unlike some sites [ahem] I'm sure everyone that works there has a degree or is very proficient at speaking/writing English), but because they've been very harsh on some games for reasons I can't understand. Perhaps this true of the old staff as I'm seeing changes in their review struct...
I want all the above for online matches because it simply takes too long to get a match going.
Second, I want Seth's difficulty to be more than just beatable on easiest to super cheesy on medium and higher. I know I'm going to get spammed and told to "man up" and "stop bishing" but the guy is almost impossible, in my opinion, on medium and higher. If you beat him 10x and got perfects each time with a completely different character every time than kudos to you...

loving all these updates and the fact that PSN is still a free service. Custom avatars and seeing what level people on my friends list are w/o having to hit compare trophies is all I want. Oh, and maybe the ability to get a quicker trophy loadout. If this means installing a few megabytes on my hdd I'm cool with that.
Anyway, it probably wouldn't happen because MS knows this game would be a system seller and, like most 3rd party games, they'd spend whatever it took to get it on 360 with exclusive DLC. Sad cuz that means the best version possible won't be built since they'll have to make it with DVD9 in mind.
