where they spoof family guy? There's a part where they show a bunch of manatees taking random balls with words written on them to come up with jokes.
Well that's what I envision HHG doing to come up with his stories. Oh and it's funny how on the Warzone everyone blamed the media for hyping 2.7 but no one blamed HHG for contributing to that hype but making statements that 2.7 was "rumored" to have all those features.
Cant' wait for Uncharted 2.
I know I'm going to get flamed but Home has been, and still is, a complete failure and waste of resources.
Perhaps if Phil Harrison were still at Sony his "baby" would be more than a venue to chase people and float above stair wells.
Still can't hang photos off my HDD in my apt, still can't listen to music in my apt, still can't watch videos off my HDD in my apt...what the bleep?
I know you guys are going to go on about how it's optional and...
I'd assume the Wii owners that want RE5 or SF4 already own a PS3 or 360. If you honestly bought a Wii expecting it to be a system that would get RE5 and SF4 then you should sell it and pick up a PS3 or 360.
was it lead last time? If not, IW is doing incredible things. Modern Warfare 2, Heavy Rain, God of War III, and Uncharted II are the only games I plan on picking up this year. Maybe NBA2k10 but that's it.
Darn I'm going to go broke cuz of this hobby.
As opposed to cutting the price before the company can do so without incurring substantial losses? Sorry but the system is a premium system. If gamers don't want to spend the extra 100.00 bucks for a system with free online, upgradeable HDD, and plays blu-ray movies then get a 360. No one would fault you. 360 is a great machine and, as shown by the numbers, hard to pass up at 199.99.
But I don't think Sony should rush to cut the price if they can't do so without crippling their ...
but the game wasn't advertised nearly as much as it should've been. MS really has advertising on lock. Halo set the standard and Gears 1, 2, and even crackdown kept it going.
I was looking around the PS Store the other day and I had to reflect for a moment on how sparse the store was when I first went on in 2007 (anyone else remember eagerly downloading the Heavely Sword and Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo?) compared to how it is now. Imagine how much better the store will be in 2 more years.
Good stuff.
"We are really struggling with the 360 but we can't tell you that because we want to do well with 360 owners."
You won't get that from Namco or Square E.
Allow me to check my bank statements and see how much I paid for PSN since I got my PS3 in 2007....ummm....no...I'd said I've actually got a pretty good deal from Sony.
It's not like they said they were releasing all the features that had all of us so hyped for 2.7. It was the rumor and speculation sites, forum posts from "Sony employees," amongst other things that got things rolling. You guys can't let that crap get you going.
you should apply for a job as a writer on the hiphopgamershow.com
the fake news is really out of control.
I'd rather jokes the way Gamepro used to do it. Make it an obvious section that's all parodies of existing games.
DOn't just take a real game and make a false announcement about it. What's the point in that? ALl this site did was ensure I, and others, will never go there.
had me going until I looked at the source.
hey, can anyone tell me if you can actually mix and match badges? I remember Guerilla talking about this a while back but I haven't seen anyone use it. Just curious.
just not anytime soon (assuming you don't think E3 is soon). Sony is trying to get profitable. This amazing do it all machine isn't exactly cheap to make. If selling less than Nintendo and MS keeps Sony from having to fire people and take substantial loses, then so be it. It's probably cheaper to purchase exclusive DLC for 2 to 3 games a year, provide incentives to make games exclusive, etc than it is to lower the price to 299.99.
And despite the reports from sites like 1up, Son...
hopefully Sega brings it to PS3 and 360. Sorry Wii owners but your console is more of a toy than anything. People are buying it for Wii Sports and Wii Sports only. It's not like you can't say this is true to some extent for PS3. There are some PS3 owners that only use it for blu-ray. Seems like 360 is the only console that people buy to play games and only play games on.
not really impressed. I saw maybe one movie that I would like to watch that wasn't available on PSN. The only difference is that he gets to enjoy those movies for a fraction of the cost I would spend if I downloaded every single movie I wanted to watch within a month.
I hope Sony announces some sort of subscription plan for PSN. I would hop right on for a Family Guy, South Park, and movie subscription. I don't know how it would work out with the licenses and what not, but it has...
kinda dangerous IMO that the media can complain about something so much that it prompts a billion dollar company to make a decision. I enjoy my PS3 and I really don't want to see Sony go the Sega route just because it felt it had to drop price.
I guess the 100 dollar drop is iminent. I suppose it'll really get people buying the PS3 and, hopefully, some of the great exclusives that sold well but not amazingly well will do better.
If you're talking AMerican Football. It didn't work out so well.
