Sony, I appreciate Home, I appreciate Flash 9, and I appreciate this. But what I REALLY want are the features that XBL has. In fact, that's what you should be working on more than anything. Why? Because you can then advertise that you have all the features the other side but you offer it for free!
Again, give me xgame chat, voice messages, and a party system and I'm set. As is there is a debate as to which service is better. You incorporate all this and there's no debate.

they could retain the stealth gameplay mechanics by changing the type of villian. Snake attempted to "hide" from what were basically human soliders. Raiden can face mega mechs or some sort of elite class of soldier. That would make sense given how powerful he is. And the incentive to return to cover after triggering a boss can be that you lose that fluid he needs in battle and if you don't rest you'll eventually pass out.
Just some early ideas. Either way, I can't wait...
and I know most 360 owners are as well.
I have to give it to MS for bringing the whole achievement thing to all games on a console. Sony innovated it, but without MS I'm not sure we'd have trophies. And I have to admit there is nothing better than hearing that little jingle and seeing that I just unlocked a trophy.

good post. MS must be scared. Look at the Wii. Obviously, Nintendo doesn't give two bleeps about what MS is doing. MS is cheaper and yet Wii continues to smash both PS3 and 360.
MY point? 360 has beaten PS3 every month since it lowered its price. Why on earth would it lower its price if Sony lowered theirs? PS3 is not going down to 199.99. Yet MS would feel the need to lower its price if PS3 went to 299.99? Obviously Aaron Greenberg is full of it. Sony scares them. They remember...

if you don't care then kudos to you. I like to see the numbers and compare/contrast what's going on in gaming sales. Gives me a good barometer of where the industry is and what the public wants.
I do the same thing for movies. I look at the box office numbers to see if a movie I enjoyed did well. If it does you're almost guaranteed a sequel.
And KZ2 had soooooo much hype around it that you almost had to look and see what it did at retail. Granted, the numbers only ...
PS3 isn't selling as bad as some of these articles would have you believe. It's install base is substantial to say the least. 360 may have the U.S., but PS3 has Europe and Japan. Make your game exclusive if you want. I'll just pick up one of the many PS3 games available.

it's too late in the cycle and I really do not want to pay to play games online. BUT, I will keep a close eye on the next Xbox. I won't pick it up at launch regardless of how amazing it is because of the RROD syndrome.
