but if someone can't discuss their thoughts/feelings about a game for fear of being deemed a racist then racism will never "die." Why can't we discuss something, debate it like adults, and understand that feelings are SUBJECTIVE. One man's problem is not another man's problem.

I hope Sega looks at making a PS3/360 version. 66k? Ouch. I know a lot of Wii gamers want to be in the conversation with PS3 and 360 owners but when the majority of games that do well on your console are so casual it's hard to see the console as anything but a novelty. Just speaking from the perspective of a hardcore gamer.

for being uncomfortable playing as a Caucasian protagonist murdering dozens if not hundreds of indigenous Africans? I wouldn't fault, let alone call someone a racist, for having those feelings. Especially if that person is African or African American.
If RE5 featured a young German soldier killing hundreds of "infected" Jewish people, and even used some scenes touching on some of the horror stories told of the Holocaust, would that make things different?

but I'm hyped on the games I already know are coming. I'm looking for more on Heavy Rain. Some dope tried to tell me it's like Myst and I couldn't exactly find anything to disprove him. God of War III is going to shock and awe, so will Uncharted 2, and maybe we'll get a teaser of the next Resistance game.
Oh yeah, I know it's like a zero possibility but a Heavenly Sword 2 announcement would make my year.

in that it was very polarizing. The people that love it really really love it. The people that hate it are opposed to even looking at the box art.
and I only hope that the engine, the time, and the work, all eventually pays off for Sony. Hate all you guys want but if you stop acting like you sit on the board of directors for either Sony or MS you'd be able to see that this game is a really really REALLY fun game. Remember a time when gamers cared about the quality of the game and not how many jerks bought it?
And yeah, if the game bombed I'd be depressed because I'd know that guarentees that there won't be another KZ game....
When 360 outsells the Wii in Japan it's amazing news and everyone jumps on MS' you know what. When PS3 does it it's "well everyone in Japan has a Wii anyway so it makes sense and it should've happend a long time ago."

North America is not the entire gaming world. And none of us can truly know what MS or Sony makes or loses on each console. Like Torrence Davis said, "neither company is going anywhere." You don't have to worry or concern yourself with sales.
Not trying to tell you what you can or can't talk about. But really, debating sales without access to the real numbers (i.e. how much each company makes or loses) is a pointless conversation.
IGN is pretty much set to give it an AAA score. Edge has already said it gets a 4 because superheroes should wear capes.
A drop in the e'ffing bucket. Honestly, if you're a 360 owner you have to be at least a little proud/pleased that MS is willing to throw away money to ensure only you get downloadeable content and to ensure you get games that were once exclusives.
Whether it makes up for the constant hardware problems with the systems is a subjective question that each 360 owner will have to answer.
am I wrong for not caring? I own the console so it's not like I have to put on my fanboy hat in go into defense mode (being sarcastic there). Really, I'm glad that devs are getting amazing results out of the PS3. Like I said earlier, that's why I'm buying inFAMOUS and not Prototype because I know the PS3 exclusive will almost always be better than the multiplat.

Greg Miller did. Not to big him up too much because his yelling is very annoying, but he's played InFamous since it was first available and is one of the few in the entire gaming media, let alone his site, that points out the differences between the two games. SuckerPunch is going to need PS3 owners interested in one or the other to, obviously, choose inFamous.

and the PS3 has a plethora of games. Team Ico's game being shown would be great. I'm already hyped for the games that have been announced. Anything else is honestly icing on the cake.
Last year it was big news that FFXIII was going multiplat. Not exclusive, multiplat.
Imagine how big it would be if something like GTA V was announced as exclusive. Crazy I know but that would steal the show. However i'm not sure if R* could announce the game, whether exclusive or not...
