If you say so. I just wish they had an optional barebones free online mode. I don't need all the bells and whistles; I just want to play games online.
flamings for kids
Sony's making a killing on the console at 399.99 if this is true. Guess a price drop might happen after all.
Cable modem and no problems with any other game. Just a day one bug. Oh well, back to "playing with myself" mode. How is it online?
Edit: Was able to play online through join a friend. For some reason I was having trouble getting in on my own. Fun game though.
in Home and people will have an incentive to login and see what's new. Home is/was one of those things that takes 2-3 years to really start wowing you. If Home becomes a staple of PSN, and I think it will, imagine what features we'll have by the time the PS4 launches.
no?
or flat out ignored by the people that claim Sony is doomed and the podcasts that constantly yell the end is neigh for Sony.
The bad articles usually come in threes. Then one person decides to write something to counter them. Just another day at N4G
To paraphrase just about every episode of ListenUp!: "C'mon Sony, you're losing so much money that you have to drop the price to keep from losing even more money"
Anyone else not see the logic in the above statement?
and the GT5 rumors only get me more hyped for the holiday season. Don't forget all the third party games dropping as well. I know what I'll be doing during winter break.
See you guys out there. I'll be the one feeding the princess.
is he a janitor? Does he work in the lunchroom? Stories like this are just too effing funny.
I've enjoyed playing the user created levels and maybe it's because I've been so blown away by what some people have made that I haven't tried to make a level yet. I have an idea of what I want to do, but i just don't have the time to do it and I know once I start I'm going to get consumed by it.
But this is a game that I really think should come with every PS3. Get it in the hands of as many PS3 owners as possible.
I really feel like I'm spending too much money on games but there are so many coming out now that I can't help it. Chubby Chaser trophy here I come.
I'm thinking of getting Fear 2. For 20 bucks why not?
but I really like the PSN interface. The PS Store is easy to navigate and the XMB is just as simple imo. Besides having that avatar looking at you with that crazy look on its face, is this really that much better?
I can understand when religious people invoke their religous beliefs on topics relating to world politics, morals, family life, etc.
But to bring that stuff up here is kinda pointless. Some of the guys that comment here has no purpose other than to flame and spew hate (not saying you did that ninji). It happens to everyone that's a public figure of any sort.
I respect when any game critic takes time to engage in a convo with someone but if you try to debate with some...
the people that bought L4D at launch thinking that it would get DLC out the yang for the foreseeable future are peeved but others that really liked the game are excited for the sequel and don't mind paying full retail price since it would cost roughly what it would were the game DLC.
I think people just need to remember that Valve isn't known for not supporting games after launch. While I can't recall an older version of a game getting the same level of DLC as it's sequel, I got...
That Psylocke skin was awesome. And Beast v. Zangief was cool as well. The best one was the Lionel in my opinion. Thunder, Thunder, THUNDER CATS HOOOOOO!!!
And saying it's at a Toy Story level of beauty isn't such a stretch considering Toy Story is more than 10 years old. In some ways, I think Ratchet looks better than Pixar's early work. Maybe next gen we'll see games that look as good as Pixar's work now (UP! for example).
It would also take a big slowdown on 360. Don't get me wrong, I think that once Sony drops the price and is a mere 100 bucks more than the 360 it'll be a repeat of almost all of 2008. And we all know that two mega blockbuster games (GT5 and God of War) are in the very near future, but to overtake the 360 would take some incredible numbers.
Let the shareholders worry about install base and numbers. This gen and the competition has produced some of the greatest games since SNES an...
