Speaking of MGS5, what is Konami going to do with that MGS4 engine? It's not being used for Raiden's game and I think we can imply that it's incapable of running on 360 (otherwise why create a new engine?).
PS3 causes nothing but heartache for Sony meanwhile Sony moves just as many units worldwide as 360 last year, Uncharted 2 gets game of the show at E3 by critics from all the major sites, but yet...you know what. I'm not going to do this. Story reported as lame.
Why? It's not like you have to pay attention to them. In fact, I fail to see how getting a trophy could be an annoyance. I remember playing Gears with my roomie a few years back and seeing my first achievement pop up on the screen. I think achievements, along with standard HDD and a standard online interface, are some of MS' biggest contributions to gaming. I love trophies! In fact I can't wait to get my plat in Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and Infamous.
Maybe because that surprise factor wasn't there for God of War III. DOn't get me wrong. It looks phenominal as well. But I think most were expecting that. Sony Santa Monica may be Sony's best in-house team and we have Jaffe saying the game looks like a painting. For many it was exactly what they expected it would be. Uncharted 2, on the other hand, probably left a big impression on everyone whether they were a fan of the original or not. And the way Sony showed it off on-stage was great.
and it's audience can safely be said to be the 360/PS3 crowd. Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube is heralded by many as the best Resident Evil ever. I can't help but think Wii owners choosing between the two will opt for Resident Evil.

Edit: Perhaps the number of cars doesn't mean that much but it's gotta account for something, no? Then again I suppose Forza's 400 cars should be plenty. I'm waiting for GT5 anyway.
Glad the critics gave the game the recognition it looks like it deserves. Superb writing matched by amazing graphics and strong gameplay all add up to 2009's game of the year. Another exclusive AAA from Sony! I'm getting spoiled ;)

I just want Modern Warfare 2. I know I know...most of you don't care about it or think Battlefield 2 is going to be better anyway but I loved COD4 and have been looking forward to it's sequel since it was first announced.
Activision can withhold every other IP for all I care. Just give me Modern Warfare 2.

but that's expected with the PS3. I can't wait to see where they go in the story. The ending of KZ2 left me, and probably most of u, in suspense for the 3rd one. I love the gritty metallic feel to the stages but I think if Guerilla threw in a jungle type stage it would be beautiful.
I'm sure this is true. Expect KZ2 sales, and many other PS3 exclusives, to go up dramatically following a price cut.
lol. Bro, I had a bish of a time beating that last level on veteran. I know on Elite it's going to be nuts. Radec, like most bosses, wasn't so bad once you learned his pattern. But the wave after wave of guys being thrown at you with virtually no cover was nuts. Especially since I did this before they patched in the High Precision scheme which made my the reticule feel like I had 50 pound weights on my arms. (I know some of you disagree).

good call. I gave up on getting the plat in that. Especially when on my best day I come no where near making zone 75 or whatever it is. I think I'd have to have a chip in me and connect to my PS3 to do that.
The hardest part about Infamous, in my opinion, was doing all the stunts. Especially if you only start paying attention to 'em after clearing most of the islands. BTW, how in the bleep was doing all the stunts just a silver? I can understand making you beat the game on hard for a gold but that's it? The blast shards weren't nearly that hard to collect. I was grabbing them from the begging and at the end only had to check the areas on the periphery of the maps to find the last few. I think the...

I purchased a bigger HDD after DMC4 had a 5 gb install, MGS4 had an install, etc because it seemed like installs were here to stay. All you guys can easily erase any concerns over an install by simply paying 50 bucks, at the cheapest, for a 180gb hdd. For like 30 bucks more you can get simply crazy with the amount of storage.
