The single player was great, but the multiplayer was amazing. I could literally play the game straight for 12 hours. And the one minute break between matches was really condusive to this because it was the perfect amount of time for bathroom breaks, to grab another drink, or to order a pizza.

Holy F. What the bleep. I didn't even know that many games were out that had Trophies. 64 plats in such a short amount of time is almost sick.
And only trophies in games I actually wanted to play. I give all my friends a hardtime about plats in Terminator Salvation or hannah montanna.
The one trophy that really means something to me is the Killzone 2 elite trophy. Beating that game on Elite was insanely difficult and it's one of the few trophies that the majority on my friend's list that own the game don't have.
It looks like someone over there wants to end the hardware war and fast. Great bundle. I hear that Europe is GT crazy. Can you imagine the fervor if this is out in time for the Holidays? I thought Sony was happy to be 3rd this gen. I was really thinking they valued profit sheets and bottom lines more than market share. But being 299.99 and having their AAA in-house games right around the corner puts MS in a rough spot. Is Forza going to be enough? Is Halo ODST? Mass Effect 2? I don't know but...
How many fat PS3s were traded for Slims? Seriously? How many 360 owners bought a second 360 because the first one broke and the next one broke? I doubt many people that owned fats traded them in mainly because the fats are the ones with BC. My 60gb is worth more than any rehash or new sku because it has full BC. Some of the 80s have partial bc. Slims are selling because people wanted a PS3. Don't hate.

and you can count on a blockbuster. I just platinum'd Infamous and I can say without hyperbole that was a great game. The stunt and shard trophies should've been golds but that's about the only gripe. I really can't wait for the sequel but with so many good games coming later this year and early next, I say they have plenty of time to work on it.

Anyway, this was an awesomely bad top 25 list. I hope someone decides to do a better version leaving all three of the current consoles off the list. It's too early to start deciding their place in history.

It would be a great deal at 39.99 and fairly priced at 49.99. Full price for this? But hey, you 360 guys have no problem paying fees so I guess I can't expect MS to start giving you guys a deal on anything. Slap the name Halo on the box and it'll sell regardless of content or price I guess.
When my PC crashed (imagine that, an MS product malfunctioning) I used the PS3s browser to check my email and bank account. Sure it's not as advanced as a browser on a computer, but I can check facebook, twitter, and most sites. And guess what, Sony doesn't charge me some fee to do that.
It's amazing how you 360 guys try to put down PS3 features like having an actual browser and try to make MS look like the better company because it offers applications. Give me a break.

the next time someone tries to tell you IGN is a pro-PS3 site. That's way too low for a console not even out for three full years. They should keep consoles that haven't been out for more than five years off these lists. You really need that much time to judge a console (unless it just cuts it's lifespan short).
bottom line is by the time online became the standard Sony made a choice to offer a service for free. Perhaps they had too because the service was so primitive in the beginning, but it was free nontheless.
Now, the service is thriving and comparable to XBL. With every firmware update I think a multiconsole owner begins to wonder if they'll ever opt to let their gold account expire.
So yeah, Sony was late but it's a race and not a sprint.

and so does Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Killzone 2, Ratchet and Clank, and Valkryia Chronicles. I really hope the people picking up slims check out some of the bargain bin games that didn't do well because the system was priced so high.
Oh yeah, MGS4 at 29.99 is a steal and an absolute must buy. Easily one of the top five games I've ever played.
