even if it means I pay 100 bucks for a game. I want the game the devs made and not want some govt officials arbitrarily believes I should get.
Ummm...why?
Then again it could be a 360 exclusive like...hmmm....ummmm....Halo carts? Halo OLDC? Oh wait, Halo Reach. yeah, it could be that. /s
much to the chagrin of 360 fanboys, it would be crazy for it to have that many blu-ray discs.
Sorry fanboys, but our Racing Sim will be one blu-ray disc. Any additional discs will be soundtracks or behind the scenes stuff.
Disagree all you want. You know it's true.
Sheesh, is this a record? Good stuff Sony.
Most of my friends own 360s but playing with them online is not that serious. I made new friends through N4G and other forums so it's not like I don't have some cool people on my friend's list.
It all comes down to price. And to me, the extra you get with Live, including NetFlix, is not worth the annual fee. I'd rather take that money and buy a game or maybe treat myself to something else. In fact, the mandatory fee for online play is the main thing keeping me from buying a 360....
to all you new PS3 owners, don't worry about actually playing the console for extended periods of time or leaving it on by accident when you run out to grab a bite to eat. Failure rate is well within the acceptable percentage.
You have such quality titles like Halo ODLC to play /s
no hidden fees, no rip-off prices, just fair and amazing quality at an insane price.
My sympathies to anyone that's lost someone close to them, but the link between real-life tragedies and the discussion/debate on gaming is very attenuated.
Ever since I was a kid I played games for a release. The conversation about who was cooler or what game was better was a welcome distraction from homework or whatever.
Grew up and games, sports, movies, etc are all still just a release. The passionate debate involved: whether telling a fan of a rival team why thei...
for all the people that just got a PS3. Enjoy what is, IMO, the best value for your money on the market. Hope you picked up Uncharted 2 while you were out there getting your PS3.
but give others the option to control the game with the High Precision aka COD4 controls.
Anyone else notice how Sony doesn't really include this game in any of it's marketing? I still see LBP in a commercial here and there but I don't see Killzone 2 in there. I would think this game should get a little bit of marketing now that the PS3 is more price friendly.
Bro, I'm so with you on MS' pricing structure. Everything from their Wifi to their HDD is 2-3x more than it should be. And I've been the biggest opponent to charging people to play online games regardless of what features you offer. That said, I just can't see MS raising the price on XBL Gold. I wouldn't be shocked if they did because their mistakes and stupidity this gen has been staggering, but to double the price on XBL Gold is just plain unimaginable to me. They do that I think they might...
XBL is going to be half price or free in the coming months. No way they raise it to 100 per. That would be insane on MS' part.
and I don't care. Sony is covering all the genres with their exclusives. All they're missing is a L4D type game and I'm not sure many of us even care since it's available on PC.
And besides the Bayonetta's of the world, multi-plat games are for the most part even or maybe even better on the PS3.
preventing anyone else from commenting below him.
Anyway, I thought it'd do a million on the first day but those are pretty good numbers. Hopefully it cracks 3 million by the end of the holiday season.
"Mass Effect 2 is coming to 360 and PC only....for now"
when I realized I was paying 15 bucks a month to never get the games I really wanted. The shipping time just made it more frustrating.
What I do now is simply buy the game(s) I'd normally rent and then sell them when I'm done on one of the sites that allow you to do that. I usually get close to full price so it's really paying a one month Gamefly fee to have the game for six months.
I can wait a year or so to get the game. Not like there aren't a ton of games to play in the interim. Good stuff. Big ups to EA for purchasing Bioware and making this happen.
so that pretty much answers the question.
