Hilary Goldstein's review of GTA4. While we may disagree about the game, he didn't waver on giving it a 10. C'mon guy, don't be petty over a .01 of a point. Just give it the friggin point to make it a 10.

and was so peeved at having wasted the time necessary to quit and get back to the XMB.
I hear it's better now, but I just have no interest in it. I still maintain my position that I would have preferred some feature we can use while playing games over Home.
I may need a little clarification. By "why not," are you saying that Sony should've scrapped the PS3 and started over even after spending the money of launch and investing how ever much resources into game development, marketing, launch, etc? And let's be honest, neither you nor I know what Sony is really making or losing on the console. And Sony isn't some fly by night company. They can sustain losses to, as they plan to, recoup that money and then some in the long term ergo the 10...
comment that Sony should scrap the PS3 and start over.
it's better than some of us expected. So has Edge given any game besides LBP a perfect score?
that the media slept on because it came out when it was accepted to hate the PS3.
but I don't factor in reviews from pubs/sites like Edge. R2 wasn't regarded as highly by some as it was in other places, but it got AAA from some really reputable sites and that's all that matters to me.
I guess you can't help but appreciate a game like Uncharted 2. MS must laugh themselves dizzy when they sell 2 million in 24 hours off DLC while Naughty Dog produces Uncharted 2 and hopes to sell that much total, let alone day one.
I guess Sony is going to start 2010 off even better than 2009. And Heavy Rain is still to come. Man it's good to be a gamer.
then I would love to see a 9.5. I've been playing games for over 20 years now and this game is easily in my top ten. Maybe top five.
on 11/10/09. It's going to be all MOW2 for me.
PSN: Lifendz
to get my money up for this and other games to come.
Glad Sega listened. Yakuza 3 yet another AAA PS3 exclusive.
and you can have all my free time.
Oh yeah, I like that whole thing Uncharted 2 did where you're rewarded for beating Uncharted 1. It'd be nice if Insomniac rewarded people that got the plat in R2.
Edit: Anyone else find it weird that so many people don't know when to use there, their, and they're?
nothing is original. I'd say it's original and may even establish sort of a new level of quality in game cinema. Seriously, the story in this game, the acting, the cinematography, effects, sound, etc are better than a good number of movies I've seen.
The critics have spoken. PS3 owners must now do the same.
and anyone that does it nuts. If 360 fanboys want to deflate the success and rave reviews that game has gotten because some other game has a higher meta average than whatever, it's a shame they're going to miss out on this game.
Too bad you didn't let your game speak for itself rather than constantly dismissing Polyphony. All things aside, it looks like Forza 3 is really darn good.
I hope it does better numbers than ODST because it's certainly more for your buck.
PS3 install base is too high to ignore now. And since when is EA console exclusive? It'll be like Bioshock. We'll hear rumblings about it forever and then 6-12 months after release on 360 it'll come out on PS3. Maybe even with improved visuals.
If I had kids I would definitely pick this up for them. Like most of Sony's first-party games, it just needs to be marketed correctly.
Get it on Regis and Kelly. Or maybe Oprah. It needs to be somewhere that moms across the country will see it and say "I gotta get this for my kid(s)."
but it's been surpassed by Uncharted 2. Nothing got stale. The game never got tedious. Last night I had that "I can't put the controller down" moment. Loving the game and I haven't even touched the multi-player yet.
