First off, most little kids want a Wii for Mario and the other NIntendo games. Haze would have done very well if it had come out during the game drought. I know they push it back to make a better game but timing is everything. we hardcores are going to buy it. No question. But the people out there that loved Metal Gear on PS2 need to know that;
A) the game is out on PS3
and
B) it's exclusive to PS3.
Heck, some 360 owners are going to have to get the system now to enjoy the game.
Expect the game to sell in the 6-7 million range. I predict a million plus in the U.S. alone the first week of launch.

That's why the game was delayed the first time out. Truth be told, I should be enjoying this game right now and serving you fools in MGS online but I'm not because they wanted to fix bugs. first of all, the 360 has left a bitter taste in the mouths of some people. To desert the console like they did with the original Xbox in favor of some new console would be disastrous. Why would you guys pay 500 or 400 bucks for a brand new console when you know MS is going to ditch it and release something else after a mere few years.
PS3 is an investment. You know it's going to take you into 2012 at the least and 2016 if they stick to the 10 year plan.

You use the word "however" just as much as he does. Anyway no one is really counting the Wii in this. The Wii is a lot like the PC; in a class of it's own. This is a two horse battle for next-gen dominance between MS and Sony.

I rarely encounter this on PSN, but live is notorious for it. Worst part is that you sometimes hear young kids doing this sort of crap as well. I don't know how MS could monitor this because its so prevalent. I guess they make a few examples here and there and maybe word gets around that this stuff isn't cool.
the game runs smooth but c'mon, who didn't expect it would. Why they made such a drastic change to the chars is beyond me. Everyone looks like they're training with Barry Bonds and Roger Clements. I'm sure I'll purchase it and eventually won't mind the looks, but if they had simply improved upon the look of Street Fighter III I think they wouldn't be receiving so much criticism on the character models.
I mean, Sony is killing 360 in Japan and beating them badly in Europe. The tides are slowly turning in the states. And the bigs of 08 have yet to drop! Never catch up? Give me a break. Xbox live is down and Xboxs are still breaking left and right. No major games for 08 that will move units are coming for 360. None.
Gears 2? People that wanted a 360 for gears already own one. This game will sell but not move units.

I'm so loving my PS3 it's not even funny. I mean, I've never been so proud of myself for choosing one console over another. Between my upgraded HDD, my ability to choose themes, the blu-ray, the exclusives coming, and the power that devs are now starting to realize, I couldn't be more excited for what's to come.
