The innovation. They don't just give you more of the same nor do they tie your hands to things like a mandatory HDD that's overpriced or charging to play games online. If you don't like blu-ray movies or just don't care for them then appreciate the storage abilities of blu-ray. That's going to be big for games in the future. Kudos to Sony on their machine. Can't wait for the AAA hyped games to roll out.

I have reservatiopns. Those stages better be pretty freaking big to accomodate that many people or else it's just chaos. So yeah, I want to see it before I'll hype it. Otherwise, I am definetely getting this game day one. I flat out loved Resistance. I mean, it's one of the few launch games I bought that I didn't ebay. It's staying in my collection forever. Can't wait to see what Insomniac does with the PS3 and I can't wait to play you suckas online in this.

Cell processor is now cheaper to make. That translates into a PS3 price drop if Sony needs to counter a 360 one. I said it before and I'll say it again, this is all happening and the big AAA hyped games aren't even out yet. Just wait till these games are on the shelves. PS3 back on top in 08. And with God of War, Final Fantasies, Team Ico's game, Infamous, etc, the future is going to be bright for Sony.

for not only putting out quality games so far this gen but also putting out great looking games for both consoles. My one concern is Street Fighter 2 HD. I heard that they're going to gimp the PS3 version because there's a download size for 360 that would mean they can't put certain music and other things in the game. I would hate to hear that and I think 360 owners would too. Let's not "gimp" games because of something like this for either. Core owners are going to have to get a HD...
I haven't played this bad boy yet. Hope to have Uncharted beaten this weekend and then I'll pick up DMC4 sometime thereafter. Glad to see Capcom is doing it right on both consoles.

money is another. All these guys that own PS2s and are sitting on the bench have yet to decide on a system. Now GTA IV is going to bring a lot of them to one system or another. When these people walk into a store and see a system for under 300 and one for practically 400, will they choose the more expensive system?
Now if Metal Gear is known to these people and they're making their decision with MGS4 and other exclusives in mind, then maybe they'll make the educated decision and...
that I'm not even worried about Killzone flopping. I know Insomniac knows what it's doing. Resistance got me through the game drought. I can't wait to see what they do on the PS3 having had time to master the hardware. Take notes EA, this is how it's done.

I loved Twisted Metal 2 but Black was a bit too hard for me. I hope they encorporate elements of the two and give the player the option for a "black" mode or something. Where the difficulty shoots through the roof. Can't wait to play you guys online in PSN.

COD4 did it, Naughty Dog did it, and Insomniac is taking it to places we've never seen. EA, this is not going to fly. Yes 360 has the larger installed base but does that mean you put the PS3 version of games on the backburner? Not cool. I'd rather there wasn't even a PS3 version if we're going to get inferior ports or have to listen to Devs b!tch about how hard it is to develop on the system.
You can't make a comparison of two consoles w/o being political or a fanboy? It's the truth. Everything he said was very true. It wasn't like he discounted the games on 360; he just mentioned hardware functionality. And he didn't even mention the RROD problems. He was talking from a movies, wi-fi, hdd perspective.
about the loading difference one way or the other. It's just very...courious...that after loading it onto the hdd there'd be no difference in load times.
and maybe I'll start believing that EA is about making quality games for a system that you can't port to.
Between LBP and Home, I can't wait to see what devs bring to the table. Can you imagine a Rockstar designed environment where they unveil a new GTA trailer live on Home? Like the room would be packed with everyone's avatar and then the trailer would come on. Can't wait.
