PS3 FTW!
when xbots flock to any article mentioning the game is going multi-plat. Xbox family? Who ever heard of that site before they said it'd be on 360? Give me a break. Lems, you're not getting this game. The good news is I might get Mass Effect and even Bio-shock one day. MS exclusive games are not really exclusive because they make the jump to PC later anyway. You'll not see Ratchet, Uncharted, GT5, the Team ICo game, and MGS4 anywhere but PS3.
But hey, you'll always have those HD-DV...
Major retailers stopped carrying HD-DVD, Blockbuster made an allegiance to Blu-ray, Sony already had its own studios behind their format along with Disney. And blu-ray was outselling HD-DVD on a regular basis. Whoever thought there was a chance this wasn't happening is simply delusional. The sad part is, that this new Xbox 360 ultimate is trumping it's built in HD-DVD which now looks like a dead technology.
so they "could" potentially increase their sales even further by putting out a PS3 version of their hit IP. Yeah, developers hate making more money. And don't bring up Metal Gear because the game was built to take advantage of the PS3. Mass Effect would be awesome if made for a system with standard HDD and blu-ray storage.
but more than anything I want those old PS1 games made available. Let's get a few PS2 greatest hits as well.
they just don't want to bite the bullet and get a PS3. I don't know why. They complain about money but by the time you finish paying for live, wi-fi, batteries for that controller (yes, most people use regular batteries and not rechargeables), and then getting that over-priced HDD, you just spend more than a PS3 would run you. I didn't even factor in blu-ray v. HD DVD. It's a wrap guys. Get a PS3 if you really want this game.

I believe the PS3 sales will beat 360 sales in 08. Too many great games coming to PS3 and nothing really out there for 360. MS has shown their best and was unable to completely dominate the market. There is still a large number of PS2 owners yet to make the jump into the next-gen and Sony's line-up for the coming year will certainly bring them out. PS3 in 08.
think about how long that install time is? Are you serious? Okay, here's what you do to resolve that, my little fanboy. I get the game, pop it in, install, and then...watch TV :O! Or maybe....go outside! Or perhaps use the bathroom. Whatever I decide to do I can find something to do while the game installs. And then, once the install is done, I get to play a seamless DMC which is something you xbots can't do because of no standard hard drive. lol@you
I can sorta see both points that led to the whole outburst. Garnet just couldn't get it in his head that Home is not neccessary to play online with friends. Sony has said from the outset that Home will not be a mandatory download. And the other host stated Sony is trying to give C w/o doing A and B which I couldn't disagree with more. The reason we don't have Home yet is because Sony is trying to get A & B-in game XMB-down packed. Once that happens, then I'm sure Home will be unveiled. ...
if it wasn't for your avatar, and your constant anti-Sony postings, this would be considered a very valid and un-biased post. I agree with you. With all their big IP's coming next year there really is no reason to rush out and buy a PS3 now. Next year will be a different story.
BTW, I'm not so sure you're right about the 360 overheating problem being solved. And having to fork over 50 bucks right out the box to even play with your friends online is still a rip off.

This is crazy! The Viacom umbrella is like the lineup that appeals to people in the teens and twenties. Adding this to XBL is going to be a great move for MS. Also, think of what this means for future Rock Band games. I hope this prompts Sony to do something with their Movie studio. How the heck PSstore doesn't have access to Sony's movies is beyond belief. Anyway, good move MS and kudos to you Xbots. Can't say MS doesn't spend the money to attempt to win.

looks much better on PS3 than 360. Much brighter and vivid. Guess Xbots will feel what it's like to get a port. Hope you PS3 owners support Burnout so devs can justify making PS3 the lead platform for their IPs.
with the PSP. Most of it's games feel like console games. When I say they I may the gaming media. Me, I like the console game feel. Makes the PSP feel more epic than the competition. Can't wait for GOW chains of Olympus. Burnout Paradise is probably my first purchase in 08.
from these guys cuz I lost stats and rank due to the crummy servers. I love the game but I'd rather they fix the server problem than give us double xp for a weekend. It seems like 8 out of 10 matches get dropped by the host.
it's not that they need to own the console. Not at all. But what does it tell you when they do a PS3 podcast but don't think the system's worthy of a purchase? If they can't afford it, fine. No one says you have to spend money you don't have on a luxury. BUT, when you don't buy it because you consider it inferior to the 360, then how are you going to give unbiased news? You can't.
They said the 360 would top off and more or less have regular numbers. MS released all their major hitters in 07: Halo 3, Bio-Shock, Mass Effect, etc etc. Besides Gears 2 there really is nothing that is going to drive sales on the 360. In fact, I say Gears 2 won't drive sales. Think about it. If you like Gears enough to buy a 360 then wouldn't you already have one by now? MS gave its best shot in 07 and didn't put Sony away.
