I think that they can just improve upon the original. Motorstorm 1 always felt like a work in progress. It was missing so much yet had the potential to be really good. HOpefully the sequel allows you to customize your vehicles and has at least 10 tracks from go.

and allow them to make the games they way they want (which they've done with Criteron thus far) I'm happy. Still, buying Take Two is not buying R*. R* actually leaves Take two soon. I think Sony is looking to buy R* and that would be a major move.
but not the whole reason. It's the culmination of blu-ray, XBL being a pay service, 360s are STILL breaking, and Sony's major titles are right around the corner. WHen all these factors are taken into consideration you can see why Sony's machine is doing so well lately.
I'm a Star Wars fan and I'm a little tired of all the FPS games out lately. Here's hoping that they get it right this time. Last good Star Wars game I played was KOTR.
BTW, kudos for making the PS3 the lead SKU. Just know that if you take up 5gb of my HDD, I'd like to see some sort of benefit or significance for it.

MS should also not cut the price to sell additional players to the "misinformed". MS should also replace all malfunctioning 360s right away. MS should also perform a mass recall so that people with the other board (the non-falcon one) don't have to wait for their system to RROD. MS should also not charge for Xbox live. They arleady said the graphics are great, the sound is epic, and the story is good. The voice acting is a little "surferish" but nothing that should bother you if you could stomach Altair in Assasins Creed. I won't get it though. Too much money and too many good games coming. If I had to choose, I'd get Lost Planet over this.

My last computer crashed and I lost over 200 songs that I paid for on Itunes and about 2000 that I got off of my cds. Apple allowed me to download my purchases songs again at no charge but as for my cds I had to upload them all over again. That was a major pain!
The point is that downloading a hd quality movie is going to take much longer than dowloading a 3 minute song. Imagine doing that more than 5 times. Yeah, no fun.

will appeal to a small segment of the movie buying public. People still want the traditional physical copy. And do you really think the retailers will go along with this? Stop the madness already. Digital Downloads are just as feasible of becoming mainstream as a one console future.

Here's the thing: Games cost so much to make these days that Devs want to ensure their game reaches the most amount of people possible. PS3 isn't exactly doing bad in Japan, but it's not doing as well as the Wii. So Square wants in on the Wii market and I can't really blame them. Granted the game they make won't be as epic, grandiose, or whatever word you want to use as their PS3 game (in terms of pure tech) but it will be Square and it'll sell.

R* is NOT owned by Taketwo forever. It isn't. In fact, the contract is up in a few months. Let them buy Taketwo. It's R* that worries us all. Whichever side buys Rockstar is going to OWN the North American market. MS and Sony have more than enough money to make this purchase but it comes down to who R* wants to be sold to.
