If they do that then Jack needs to be fired. In North America, GTA has become a cultural phenom. It has a fanbase that is insanely loyal. And this is the first time the game is releasing simultaneously on both consoles. Also, the PS2 owners still (by and large) have yet to choose a next-gen console. people keep saying things like "mine's works fine and I have a launch system...You just can't play it that much...it must be something you guys are doing" then it'll never get fixed. Put the blame where it belongs guys.
the differences between 1080 and 720 are only noticeable on tvs over 40 something inches. My max output is 720p so I'm good. And really, nit picking about a game being only 720p is sorta...well unnecessary. It's a great game and a gorgeous game. That's all that matters.
not this low but I called it. That is, as you said, insanely cheap. I don't know what Sony can do to counter this. They need to either reach some deal with R* for their own exclusive content or start up another marketing campaign featuring Metal Gear, Resistance 2, GT5, and maybe God of War III.
That is just crazy. If it's that bad I'm at the point where I'm ready to say Parents shouldn't let children under 16 play games online at all. There's just no way to police everything said/done and it's just going to result in games getting overtly censored.

That's the worst form of justification for a malfunction I've ever heard of. Suppose a TV broke if you watched more than 4 hours a day. I suppose the traditional family that doesn't watch tv would be fine and everyone else would be screwed.

I'm going to drop at least a 1000 bucks on games total. I've already got Burnout, COD4, and DMC 4. Now I'm getting Star Wars, Resistance 2, Killzone, LBP, and GTA IV. Wow. It's a good year to be a gamer.
I haven't played any of the games on that list. I guess I have to add Okami, Persona 2, and Shemue to my list that included God War 1 & 2.

Still not there. C'mon Sony. You made a gorgeous looking console. Even the console's website is sleek. The PS Store looks so generic. I mean, so bland and blue. Jeez. The blue is so....well blah. Good start but come with it Sony. Make the PSN something that isn't an eyesore.
