this game is the reason I bought a PS3. Granted the footage I saw in 05 wasn't the real thing, but the footage we saw last year was virtually indistinguishable. Can't wait to see what 40 mil can do on PS3.
It's not like you can join the clan and go harass innocent people. It's not like you go around only targeting one group of people (at least not what the missions direct you to do). and it was great at 2D games. Who would've thought that 2D wouldn't continue to dominate like it did in SNES and Genesis days? Then PS came out and it all changed. Wipeout, Tekken, and Warhawk were all amazing at the time. And then FFVII came and it was over.
I still enjoyed some 2D fighting games and a little number called Guardian Heroes on my Saturn, but my PS became my love.

NPD numbers are sorta "meh" for me right now. The only time I'll resume interest in this is when GTA IV drops. I'm curious to see which system the game sells the most on and which system benefits the most.
just because HDDs break, can crash, and/or things can get deleted by accident. Imagine if someone got a hold of your movies and decided to delete some stuff. And the amount of time needed to download a HD quality movie is going to be significant. I bish about how long it takes to download a demo; I can't imagine doing a movie.

I think he was subtly giving credit to blu-ray by saying how necessary it is. It means that is blu-ray wasn't enough then DVD was not even close.
Anyone else think the hype machine for this game is crazy? I can't remember the last game that I and everyone else was so hyped for.
Especially since it's really only 13 or 14 after the OS is installed. In this day and age with downloadable games, dlc, and movies and music on your system, you need more than 20. At least 40. 60 is a great number for MS. Hopefully they drop the price on that 120 gb drive.

I guess they lack the practice because their machine doesn't require regular calls to customer service.
Anyway, why would you want the 40 gig? Just get the 60. It has the best of everything and is still the best option at PS3. You can get a 60 on ebay for the same price (if not cheaper) as a 40 gig.

Truth be told, the last Fighter I played was VF5 and I left it because it lacked online.

and good for 360 owners. I know a good number of you guys would at least like the option of an add-on blu-ray player.
Biggest winner is Sony. Not just because of the money they'll get but because of taking a chance and going blu-ray with PS3 when they could have easily gone DVD.
Kudos Sony. This is why I continue to buy your consoles. You don't just give me more of the same; you're willing to take chances and give the consumer something new.

This title will be forever PS3 exclusive so if they get it right, if they build it to utilize the PS3 (rather than making a game that can work on both systems), and if they get it out while people still care...yeah...we could have something special.
