360 had it right there. They're like that team in sports that's favored and has all the momentum but eventually gets in their own way and defeat themselves.

Sell games there? They offer usually 50% less than what you could get if you sold the games yourself through an auction site. Same applies for used game purchases except they usually charge more than you'd pay elsewhere.

Square has always set the standard in graphics, story, music, and RPGs as a whole. Seeing their first iteration on PS3 is going to be as good an indicator of what the system can do as Killzone 2 will be...maybe even more. Can't wait to see what they do.
thinking an excel doc is a fake is perfectly normal. How many forum posts and rumors get approved around here that have no merit at all? Either way, it's not like we didn't know Home was coming this year so no big surprise. Why things are so confrontational around here is b3yond me.

Look at the first round: Sony released a console specializing in 3D games when 2D was the thing to have. Sega's machine did 2D games amazingly. Sony's PS one did 3D and took it to a new level. Round one: Sony
Round 2: Sony releases a console that includes a DVD player. Includes what was at the time the hottest thing to have. My first DVD player was in fact my PS3 (deja vu). PS2 picked up where PS1 left off and some (like myself) said "in Sony we trust".

So July is the month that starts the trend of my PS3 never being turned off. That's right, never. When I'm not playing a game I'll be fine tuning my city loft, converting movies to MP4s so I can entertain guests with Family Guy, movies (movie night in Home), and just have random tunes playing.
Can't wait. I really think Home could be as big as Phil Harrison envisioned it to be. If 3rd parties get involved it could be really special.
They've done extremely well in sales. Maybe even better than they anticipated. Why charge the fans that helped make the game what it is? I could see if it only went double plat but this game is probably diamond across all platforms. IW, do us a favor and make the paps free. This way the new maps won't be a gravetown.

rival WoW how? In terms of gameplay and fun or in terms of $$$. I think the latter would be near impossible. I do, however, commend Sony for trying to give us an MMO. Keep the innovation coming Sony but be easy on making the bold declarations like this.
I get both excited and angry. Excited at the thought of Home and how I'll probably never turn off my PS3 once it's out and angry because I want it now. As a matter of fact, we're almost in Q2 of 2008. Home should be here pretty soon....unless they delay it again.
they really should do the localization simultaneously though. With the RPG market being so big in the U.S. and UK, there's no reason we should have to wait the extra year.
I heard Garnett bishing about how much of a sim it was and how he just wanted to play an arcade like baseball game once in awhile. He took points off for the game not having an arcade mode. Meanwhile, Hilary Goldstein of IGN stated the game was uber addictive and that the sim aspect is what makes it good.
1up, you have a good podcast but I only look at Shane's reviews and even he's a fanboy.
