I researched both 360 and PS3 like never before. Weighed all the factors and made my purchase.
The game drought was rough, but as of right now, almost two years later, I can say I've never been happier with a console. Games, streaming media, play on, blu-ray, Home, future games....oh man the system is just great.
Now I know that 360 is a good machine. I know that 360 established a strong market and stole some of Sony's market this time around. Big ups for that. But...

he just seems that way when the rest of the staff are 360 fanboys. When the whole crew slams PS3 games for one thing, and someone else slams an MS game for the same thing, it seems bias but he's really just showing them that they have a double standard.

for one the launch was so nuts that I wanted no parts of it. For two, well...nothing released at launch flat out blew me away. Same was true for the 360's launch when many were saying it was Xbox 1.5.
The real reason why I continued to wait was because Gears of War. The game looked so amazing. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen on a console. But after doing research, checking clips of MGS4, reading on the raw power of PS3, and the fact that PSN was free was all key.
