but I thought Epic owns Gears and only signed a 2 game exclusivity deal with MS. Not that I think Gears 1 or 2 is coming to PS3 because those two are, obviously, under the deal.
But Gears 3 is up for grabs, no?
Now if MS is willing to spend to get GTA IV, DMC 4, FFXIII and whatever other series they threw money at to get multiplat, then I'm sure they'll do all they can to keep Gears exclusive to 360.
But it would be only fitting if Sony somehow manage...

MS put out a system known to malfunction at a high rate.

and already Sony has delivered Uncharted, MGS4, KZ2 (in a mere matter of days), and many others? Wow. Kudos to Sony. Early adopter phase and already reaping major companies big profits? I can't wait till the PS3 is in the mainstream phase and certain IPs that I once loved become exclusive again and actually take advantage of the system to its full potential.
but they don't use it if the game has to go to 360. It's the truth. This is why Sony exclusives are light years better than any multiplat game. Blu-ray does make a difference. But Capcom will never utilize blu-ray to the fullest when doing so would mean a gimped 360 version.
But at least they're getting better at making a multiplat on PS3 and are no longer forcing us to do an install (hopefully a trend that continues).
Not flaming but I was going to get the 360 version so I could play my buddy who's in the Military but after playing Gears 2 and seeing how the dpad on 360 can't even handle that, I'm going for the PS3 version.
Install option? Sweet. I'll definitely take that option as I have over 100 gigs of free space in my PS3.
but I have a full time committment to school so maybe that makes it easier. Plus I play R2 competitive mode a lot and LBP isn't slowing down at all. But hey, that's just me. I can understand not being able to wait. I just know that all their games are bug ridden and then I heard how bad the PS3 version was and I said "no thanks, I'll wait."
the game is over a month away and yet it seems like N4G is flooded with all things KZ2. That's not a bad thing; I just have to dodge spoilers like crazy now. Right before MGS4 launched it was this way and I remember several sites spoiling certain moments in the game. If the game is done this early why not bump up the release? I know there are factors being considered that I am not aware of: I just want KZ2 now!

While 360 fanboys get all excited about "beating" the PS3, the real question I have is how is MS not outselling the Wii while being 50 bucks cheaper, with more games, and with Gears 2 on display?
it'll be patched to the point it actually works and will be much cheaper. This is why you should all wait to buy a Bethesda game....if you can wait that is.
then my fault on my earlier post. Usually it's MS (Epic being my past example here) that forces devs to charge for content. If the dev is charging then that's a different story.

I would've picked it up but I honestly was so content with Burnout Paradise that I couldn't bring myself to purchase another arcade racer. Still, even having not played it, I know it should be in the top 10 over Army of Two.
Gears is almost entirely grey and brown. No complaints from the media there. KZ2 is said to actually change up towards the end and yet all I read are how grey it is or how gloomy it is. Sheesh, damage control by the 360 media fanboys. Don't hate, just get a PS3.
it's hilarious. When GTA revolutionized itself, when SFII changed the way we think of fighters, when World of Warcraft made itself a game some people were content to only play forever....these are just some monumental moments in gaming after subpar initial/early versions.
Now it's Sony's turn. Sony took MS' best shot and wasn't put away. In fact, despite not having but one so called "must have" game, the PS3 is still neck and neck with the 360 even though it's 200 buck...

LoL@ getting only 3 months of Live with the game. Meanwhile I can play any game I want on PS3 and I didn't pay one cent to for online fees. Almost feel sorry for 360 owners still paying to play online.
