Sony has to step the marketing up big time. Make the people that own PS3s only to play blu-rays purchase it. They already have an HDtv (persumably if they a bought a PS3 to play blu-rays).
I know the hardcore PS3 community will come through. We're the same community that made MGS4 a 700k seller with no advertising ...

in 2011. That's only 2 years from now. I'd like to think I have another...well...five years at the least with this thing. Make the next PS a techincal marvel that devs are somewhat familiar with but I don't want to see it or have it on the market for at least 4 more years.

I don't think has to kill anything except the perception that Guerilla can't make a good console game. Halo is a great franchise. Let it be. I hope Killzone 2 starts the same sort of name recognition with Killzone. But I don't need it to kill Halo. Halo is here to stay. Just like there's no God of War killer, no GT5 killer, no GTA killer, there is no Halo killer. The games are just too large and will always sell.

but I have the original 60gb model that some guy wrote a blog about being more prone to the yellow light of death which affects like 2% of PS3 owners or something. ANyway, I have that and I was among the first to download the firmware that provided in-game xmb and was "bricking" systems. I also downloaded the most recent firmware.
My point is that I haven't had a problem thus far so I don't know if that makes me lucky or if I'm just in the vast majority of people that ...
I played Deadspace a few weeks back and absolutely loved it. It did everything right in terms of gameplay. I was an engineer that was fighting for my life without any real weapons. And it worked. I never experienced such suspense....well...not since Silent Hill 2 at least.
Now comes RE5. I played it and have no desire to buy it. The controls were cumbersome. The aiming is slow. The knife is virtually useless. That last one really sucks because ammo is so bleeping limited that it...
