The lightest tablet currently on the market weighs in at 1.9 pounds and this device is not even close to being as thin as that.
Initial feel might say it is comfortable... but using a 2 pound controller for an extended amount of time is just asking for trouble.
How durable could it possably be? Think of how many times you have dropped your controller? Think of the abuse any controller takes.... now think about abusing your tablet in the same fashion? Yo...
Future of gaming controllers??? Did you see the controller? Go ahead and pickup your DVD player the next time you watch a film and tell me your wrists don't get tired after holding it non-stop for 2 hours?
The thing looked thicker and heavier then a tablet. And I definetly am not going to be lugging one of them around playing video games.
And the original Wii controllers? Really...? Those are not the future of gaming controllers either.
Graphics capabilities are NOT on par with either system. And the thing that they really need to fix out of the gate is the controller. Unless they have an option to be able to use an alternate controller then the system will fail. Who wants to use a tablet basically as a controller??? the weight alone will have you needing to sit the thing down on your lap or table.
I did see during a G4 interview that people will be lining up to play the multiplayer demo. Where is this going to be held?

You have a link to where they are saying it is playable on any console in E3? The Dice blog only identifies that "...we will be showing both single player and multiplayer gameplay at E3!", not that it will be actually playable. I have already seen footage for all systems... I want to see people actually playing it on the floor though.

Still not happy with the white wash graphics. I wanted a new improved engine and better graphics. Bring it to the current generation... don't white wash it with that awful looking Master Chief helmet and the same old engine with bells and whistles attached.
You could put this on XBLA arcade but they are milking it as something big. Give me a better CE. Some games just don't live up to their old school play through. CE is one of those. I still own every Halo game cu...

I am pretty sure it wasn't playable on any console version at E3. It is just that normally at a minimum a 360 version is available at E3 due to the easier transfer from PC to 360 due to architecture of system.

I really wanted to see a remake of Halo:CE not a re-skinned version of the same game. I am just hating the pictures of Master Chief.

Do they need to beat Microsoft or Nintendo? I think they just need to be able to meet the expectations of fans... and if possible surpass it.
Is that a live show trick??? I would think that you would not focus the camera on the player when they are just standing there not directly manipulating the action. And of course you should be viewing the motion they are using while manilpulating the character.
But I do think they need to focus better on being able to see both the on screen and the player controlling the action. Maybe a split screen would be nice when it goes to player control?

Maybe because the Kinect and Move are in direct competition as is the DS and PSP. Why would 360 console sales be compared to a handheld device?

The issue with Live being down initialy had to do with not having enough resources prepared for the flux of online account creations. They surpassed their forecast of initial adopters by much more then they could handle at one time. They quickly brought in more servers and resources to handle the amount of people.
Sony on the other hand had a very reasonable account of the number of people on their service and should be estimating that nearly AL...
