Sorry I accidently gave you a disagree thinking that you were saying that the Wii U would be graphically competitive with the PS4. Just noticed you were quoting someone else.
Ignore one of those Disagrees and I would have given you an agree but I have still not seen anything that places Wii U as even being better then the PS3 as you stated later. (When/if I see it then I will give them their props)
He went out of his way to make sure he DIDN'T say that the Wii U would have better graphics then the PS3 or the 360. What he DID say was... "Again, the point is not about a comparison versus our competitors. What we’ve said is it will be 1080p. Check the box on the best graphics capability"
Simply put he is saying that it will be 1080p and being 1080p allows you to check that little box of having the best graphics capability.
Nothing more p...
Halo games are all much funner when you get a group of four people to jump online with you. As are any FPS games really. Even Gears of War is funner when you have split screen. And you can add all the Rainbow 6 games in the batch too.
Now if you mean better by graphically superior... well then you are just pigeonholing games into one category aren't you?
To only identify the new controller with the Wii U as a single player component then you have just...
@EYEamNUMBER1
So actually what you should really be saying is that all consoles only support one player because the majority of games are for single player not multiplayer experience?
@KonaBro
"...the main controller will not be available separately."
With the above comment from Nintendo it appears you won't even have that option! Can't imagine not being able to buy another controller for your system forcing other players in your house to use the older controllers. Looks like they aren't focusing too much on local multiplayer games then with their new controller? Fail.
I am not much for swag in box sets. I prefer maybe extra download items or something that I can actually use in game.
I would never have a bust of Duke anyplace displayed in my house. But I could understand some kids maybe having it in their room.
I really am enjoying this game. Though I would like to see a bit more of the gunplay option. The shootouts that do happen seem to be rather short in nature.
I like the fact that you have to actually pay attention to the clues and everything you hear or you will just be lost when questioning suspects.
Some say that questioning is hit or miss. I haven't found that too much. Someone telling the truth is the easiest... they simply don't wander their e...
Could the first guy just not understand how to aim? Majority of the time his cross hairs were about 2 foot above the enemies head or to the left or right. Like he closed his eyes and just held the trigger button down. ha
"When Halo CE debuted it proved that first-person shooters could work well on consoles."
That is an understatement... it set the standard for FPS controller layout on consoles.
Not too hard to play the old title Halo:CE even now seeing that it is already available for download via marketplace.
But the upgrade in graphics does assist in the rejuvination of the game... as I have since gone back and played it and the original never feels as good as when you first experienced it.
You always remember the graphics as being exceptional when you first played it. Now that our graphics standards have upgraded it is a bit more difficult to...
So I am assuming you have the PC version then.
What few additional contents have you heard of?
"And while it all looked like a game made post-Halo: Reach..."
"Halo: Combat Evolved looks dated. It hasn't aged badly, but it has aged."
I think Bitmob needs to make up it's mind. Does it look like a game made Post-Halo:Reach or does it look dated?
I myself don't care for the subpar graphics as I would rather play through the game story with that post Halo Reach engine look and feel. But I understand the...
"This is old news, stated as if it just happened today.." reading the article it references old news in relation to recent events after the PSN network return. Though the article really has more to say recently about Sony in whole and not just PSN Hack. Which is hard to do seeing that Sony is so many seperate entities.
But in truth their should be some form of over all management that should be pushing someones buttons to alleviate these issues and concerns.
Wow... took about 22hrs for someone to approve the article even. (or longer depending on how soon the first person replied)
The article actually is short and not too flamebaitish talking about the recent attack reported last Friday(?) on Sony Pictures site... and that the method this time was rather routine and should have been relatively preventable.
"...security experts wondering why the company didn’t make basic fixes to its stricken cybersecurit...
I actually did a search on the subject prior to posting and couldn't find any source marking TW2 as GOTY in any category.
But yea... you are probably right that they think they don't need to actually have won a GOTY award to be able to offer this version of the game.
I really enjoyed the game but have not cared for the developers or their MOD team on their websight. A bunch of wankers if you ask me. (I just wanted to use the word WANKER... ha)
Did we expect anything less from all the flamebait going on here?
Just another article to get attention.
Question is what will be on the GOTY edition? Just the added DLC? As I don't recall any previous DLC for the game?
I will just download the DLC and be done with it.
I will buy BF before another COD game. But I have never cared too much for the multiplayer. Maybe add some Lone Wolf game modes for online and it would get me more interested?
I don't like depending on team mates in the heat of battle... especially if I don't know them. And we all know how hard it is sometimes to get a good team together to play and communicate.
I hate those people that play team games and don't turn their mics on. How are y...
Per Frank O'Connor via Joystiq he said the "Anniversary's multiplayer component, while employing the Reach engine, will still be playable on the Anniversary disc itself. The game will also include a voucher to download the maps for play within Halo: Reach." So from reading that I am assuming that the Anniversary disk will allow you the playing of the 7 maps included on the disk. But if you already own Halo: Reach then you will be able to download the added maps to play along...
"...but like miyamoto said that will be changing."
I have yet to hear anything about changing the amount of controllers available for the Wii U? I have only read references from Nintendo stating that the controller will NOT be offered seperatley for purchase. Can you post the references from Miyamoto so that we can read them? Thanks...
