@firetaw/solar
This had/has nothing to do with the PS3. This has to do with servers that are Sony controled. The servers aren't so difficult to comprehend. Sony did not have a special unhackable server that hackers couldn't get into.
They have a system setup that most any other company would. They just happened to pick a fight with the wrong community and this community chose to fight back in the only way they felt they could.

Game of the year???????

More then likely military person now relocating to a base/camp in Japan. So keep up your stereo types.
I can whip that game up in about a week. (ok... maybe a little longer to improve the graphics)
I am wondering what the challenge is behind it other then jumping at the right times and hoping you get that fire button mashed down.
I am assuming the difficulty levels will depend on how fast the scroll is???
I purchase hundreds of Indie titles... this wouldn't be on my list as a purchase.
Maybe the disagrees are the N4G people just not laughing? If you want to be a comedian then get used to the hecklers.
Now the remarks you posted about basically being persecuted for your post and the crying bit. Now THAT was funny.
p.s. just stop posting... that is the simplest way to end your account.
@Allelujah00
Here is how I look at the cup issue...
It is half empty when I pay for it.
It is half full if I never expected it in the first place.
If I am really thirsty then I wonder when the refill is coming.
The game looks like it is going to be great... but I think my anticipation for Battlefield 3 and it's new look has got me more hyped then GoW3.
Well this was a post on Gears of War 3... so using a common acronym for this game and another in the same post would lead to the assumption.
The clarification makes your post more understandable.
And yes I was bored some what at the end of Elder Scrolls... to the point that I never finished it. Looking for Skyrm to make me jump back in bed with Bethesda.
Try palying through GoW2 again and then go back and play GoW3. People sometimes don't realize how much a game changes in the next chapter until they have revisited the previous game.
"GoW3 looks awesome but was pretty short." So you played the campaign already??? Or do you mean GoW2 was short? I felt it fit in perfectly with how long a game should be... games like GTA IV just drag on and on and on.

"you only by the sytem for it's exclusives"
Maybe YOU only buy the system for it's exclusives but a large portion of the gaming community doesn't care about the exclusives.
If they wanted to play a game of GTA then they might just look at the system that is affordable to them?
Or they might buy the system that their friends have also?
Or they might just have been disenc...
@SlyFoxC + 10h ago "disagrees on N4G are like crabs...dont know how you got them....but you have to live with them"
You are lieing to yourself if you don't know where you got 'em. You got them from that girl on the corner who asked you if you wanted a date.
And as for living with them... well why don't you just get rid of 'em?? Not like you got herpies which is for life. Or did you??? ha
As for the article....
You are correct auto renewal is automaticly turned on when ever you add a credit card info to purchase items and/or do anything to add points to your gold service. i.e. using a 1,3,6,12 month Live card.
And seeing that I have now moved out of country and am in a country that is not on the Xbox Live list I have to call overseas to make a change to my account. The bills alone for the call would end up equaling the amount of a years gold service seeing that I have no toll free...
I just changed my daughters account now too. And yes I did verify... after changing the status to off for auto renewal it gave me a little blurb at the end saying that it will not take effect until the end of the current experation. And it also stated that if I used a point card to update my gold status that it would switch back to auto renewal.
ADDED NOTE: •You cannot remove a credit card that is associated with an active Xbox LIVE Gold Membership.

Talk to MS about it. My daughters account was locked until I fixed her credit card information. Per the Live agreement it states something about billing information needing to be correct or something like that. So unless you call MS up directly and get things removed then yes they can suspend your srvice if billing information is incorrect. And that is a nightmare dealing with them on removing a credit card from your account. Best to ONLY use the prepaid cards from the beginning.
I just tried this and it works. Now to do it with my daughters account. Of course it has to be done again each time that you use any type of gold update cards.
First off... you can't just do anything to your card if you still want your gamertag and everything attached to it. If your current credit card associated to the account reaches it's experation date or is not able to be accessed when renewal comes up then your account will be locked for online. It will not revert to silver status.
So yes... you could attempt to do what you said but you will loose all online marketplace options for that gamertag.
@DragonKnight
I am not sure you get the understanding of what you get when you pay for something. Some people purchase the PS3 for different reasons. Did you pay for the privledge of watching Bluray movies? Did you pay to be able to play certain titles? The experience that so many people talk of is what they paid for. Nobody paid for the PS3 because of the power cord... yet it came with one. Should those that don't use the Bluray player get a refund? Should those that o...
Really??? You just tried to make a point that Sony shouldn't be hacked but Microsoft should??? That's like saying you don't believe in the death penalty and that the Warden should instead be put to death. Or you feel that abortion is a sin so we should kill all abortion doctors.
Your thinking is just wrong.
