"Both next-gen console (Ps4 or X1) are doing good for sells.
"Many N4G users says, 'that no one wants a x1'.
This is a great lie. Great lie, this is a major problem and there is much debate about this."
That's not true. Many N4G users don't say that. You pulled that out of your hyperbolic butt. Besides, your reply has nothing to do with the inference you made in your first reply. If there is a problem on N4G it is Xbox...
And GSP. Let's hope they don't make those roster changes too up to date.
Generally people with money and no foresight, I'm guessing.
Well, okay, but that just means that you're that guy that waits until after a year to get your systems. I'm not sure why you find the data sad. I bought my PS4 on launch day and bought my Wii U close to launch. If people weren't out there buying consoles at launch they wouldn't survive long enough for you to pick one up after more than a year went by; then you'd be really sad.
@Mr_Writer85
You're splitting hairs. Okay, he isn't making the bet. He's making the prediction after the race has started and telling you that you should make the bet. Better? The point is, to those in the know it's like watching someone pull that con with the object hidden under the three cups on unsuspecting marks.
This article also presents the Amazon information incorrectly. Amazon didn't say they both sold 1,000 units at their peak. Amazon said they both sold MORE than 1,000 units at their peak. http://phx.corporate-ir.net...
It may seem like I'm being petty, but that "more" is important. Using a crude analogy, think of the difference b...
You partially cover it. Here is the problem. Pachter is placing a bet on the leading horse after the race has started. Before the race started, he was betting on a different horse, and it baffled the experienced gamblers. If experienced gamblers are ridiculing him, it's because we see through the con. Behind all of the pretentious number crunching is a guy that we recognize just played the safe bet after the race had already started.
Look, I'm sure Pachter has other duties which he performs more competently to justify his position. However, gamers mostly know him for his gaming predictions. It makes no sense for you to be so sensitive regarding people saying they could do his job. The part of his job that is relevant to us—the gaming predictions—he is horrible at. In that context, you really don't need to spend all that time building up your resume to be wrong. Anyone can do that.
@MsmackyM
"I know this may seem far fetched, but I put my money on the Wii U winning the eight generation."
That's the point. What you just did is you went out on a limb. Pachter waits until a blizzard hits, then announces it's going to snow.
@KiLLUMiNATi_89
Your trolling is apparent. No one was bragging about anything. Someone stated Destiny would be a system seller and you immediately went into fanboy, Xbox vs. PS4, mode. Your butthurt only allowed you to see the comment in the context of Xbox vs PS4. In reality, multiplats also help to sell systems. Someone may not want to buy a next gen system now, but may do so if they are really looking forward to playing Destiny on next gen systems.
No on...

"Is my comment factual or (As) you say silly, please explain with facts..."
Your first sentence was a question, not a fact. Your second sentence contained a fact. Your third sentence was an opinion. Your fourth sentence was a question. Your fifth sentence was an opinion. Your sixth sentence was an opinion.
P.S. Please stop using ellipses and parentheses incorrectly.
I don't mind APPROPRIATE DLC. When done right it gives me the opportunity to play more content without having to buy a separate retail version of the game or a half hearted sequel. Imagine if DLC had been around for something like MGS2. Snake could have been playable throughout the original version by simply including a DLC campaign for him instead of including it in a separate retail copy of the game. We just need to be smart consumers and support DLC that benefits us. First and foremost...
I see your Street Fighter 4 and raise you Street Fighter II.
Stop it, bro. That's pathetic. The PS3 was cheaper than the 360. End of story. And while you're sitting there trying to figure out which system dropped more percentage wise since launch, remember to factor in the affects of the RROD.
@Death
They tripled their market share because they had a lot of room to go nowhere but up after the low sells of the original Xbox. PS2 was the best selling system of all time so Sony had plenty of room to go down and less to go up. When you talk about market share you have to look at things in their totality. MS didn't just hit the scene with the 360 and gain that market share. That also meant losing quite a lot of money on the original Xbox. They can triple their marke...
Well Said.
This article tries too hard to construct a narrative, when really all that is needed is to take a step back and analyze the situation in its totality. Last gen was an outlier. The Wii was cheap enough, innovative enough, and lucky enough to catch casuals at the right moment. With the Wii U Nintendo is back to struggling with sells. The 360 had a year head start and was cheaper, and had to rely on that head start for years to give the impression that it sold better ...
Says the troll with one bubble. As far as you're concerned, that 3.5 you attach to KZ may as well be 3.5x what you can achieve on your underpowered console that costs $100 more. I could try to tell you that Knack is underappreciated, but that would be lost on a troll, so I'll just say this: At least Knack involves challenge and a bit of strategy as opposed to that Kinect 1 renovation where you don't even have to input the correct command—or any at all!—to execute the enemy.
Well Said.
It's based on more than just one Game Stop. The person saw the same thing at two other Game Stops. The pictures come from one Game Stop. I can tell you from looking at the picture of that sign that it is identical to the audio message that plays at a Game Stop I frequent.
"Sounds reasonable enough, except the game he was offered was Killer Instinct, the Xbox Live beat-em-up that can in fact already be downloaded completely free of charge with all game modes available and one playable character unlocked. Customers can then choose to unlock the rest of the characters for a fee, but the disappointed customer wasn’t offered this additional premium content; merely the base game… which is already free."
