@Bundi
How does "a bitter tear" (singular) gloss "his eyes" (plural)?
I think I finally understand the disconnect that's happening between Sony gamers here and many of the trolls. It's projection. Listen, Playstation gamers care about Playstation. We're not shills for the company like a lot of the trolls attacking us here are for the companies that produce they're preferred brands. If a weak division of Sony is done away with, resulting in more focus on gaming, we, AS GAMERS, say, "good." If you care more about being a corporate apolog...
That $1.1 Billion loss was in the first article I read here on the matter. Maybe you should read the articles instead of just reading the headlines and jumping to trolling.
Why are all of your comments here trolling?
While I don't agree with the Nintendo doom train, what other products does Nintendo produce, outside of gaming? Even still, most of the Nintendo doom is pointed at their home console business, not their handheld or software. Most of the "doom" talk goes hand in hand with a call for Nintendo to put its software on other consoles, so obviously they're not talking about Nintendo going belly up as a whole.

Just report it as trolling/off topic. Look at his follow up response to kenshiro100. Nothing but trolling. You can't even say Xbox Ones are on store shelves without some mod collapsing your comment in an MS article, so why should we put up with blatant off topic and trolling comments here?
@MultiConsoleGamer
Hey, they're also not leading the industry in portable music players anymore either. This is a gaming site. If you want to bemoan the exit of Sony from the television business, go on N4TV or whatever. I'm sure it matters there. This is N4G. We care about the gaming division. If they have to restructure by dropping some non-gaming divisions that's really irrelevant to gaming. In fact, such a move helps secure the future of the gaming division.

"The factory made chips used in the gaming system."

@4ShotKing
What markets are Nintendo in, besides gaming?
Because you're trolling with an off topic post.
Give the trolling a rest.
Those big losses aren't axes hacking away at the tree. They're other branches, which Sony can chop off if need be. Will the tree be as big without those branches? Nope, but it will survive and be a healthier tree with the potential to regrow what it lost.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The Playstation brand will stay afloat, even if Sony went under. Right now, and over the past four generations, Playstation is...
@TheRedButterfly
I have no problem with the list itself, but it needed to be stated that it was for the US. You led your post talking about global sales for Infamous, then segued into your point about Titanfall on XB1 outpacing Infamous, without clarifying that you were only referring to the US. It could be easily misconstrued that you were still talking about global.
That's a USA chart you linked to.
I think it may help them take the lead in the U.S. IF Sony's PS4 supply here is still constrained.
I can see how someone who has no understanding of the numbers that they are looking at may think that.
Since when does your preferred console manufacturer spending money that could have been spent developing an exclusive, and reassigning resources that could have been used developing exclusives, just to keep PS4 owners from also playing a game which you would have received, count as good news?
You have to read the article (Is that old school now?) to get the point. His exact words were, "Microsoft's internal numbers for the first two weeks in January were well below their projections."
Ah. Keywords and tricky phrases. So he's not just looking at a sales number and saying that it is low. He's looking at the number, comparing it to their supposed sales projections, and saying that it is low, in the context of what was expected. Sony has to meet...
Well said. Besides, way too much attention is paid to what a game averages. If half the critics love a game and the other half hate it, does that mean that I'm likely going to find the game to be average? No. It means I'm likely going to either hate it or love it, but the Metacritic score is going to suggest that it is average.
@truefan1
Please list the names of every math teacher that has ever failed you, so that we may, at least, spare other children.
LOL. I almost want to see it happen just to see Game Stop flip flop in their Xbox marketing, yet again.
Pre DRM
GS: Welcome to Game Stop. What's that? You want a 360?
Customer: No. I said I want a PS3.
GS: Sure. We can help you with that. Shawn, bring this man a 360 and ring it up.
DRM
GS: Did you know XB1 doesn't allow used games, is region locked, and requires a 24 hour check in?

They're getting out of areas that are costing them money and investing more resources into the Playstation brand. Explain how that is dire to you, or me, as a PS4 owner.
